Our two boys have been attending Richmond Goodstart the past 12 months. The entire staff are so caring and attentive; on and beyond what we’ve ever experienced elsewhere (our eldest has attended a few centres due to us moving a few times so can spot a good centre over a bad one). We are so grateful we found this centre and feel so lucky we as parents can go to work and have confidence our kids are safe and nurtured in a beautiful environment. Our Key educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.

Our relationship with you and your family
Our StoryPark platform, as well as regular family nights, centre events and both emailed and printed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor our centres program to each child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.
