About Cheltenham Early Education Centre

Cheltenham Early Education Centre (CEEC) opened in September 2020 and has quickly gained a reputation of providing exceptional care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. With highly qualified and high educator to child ratios, every child has the opportunity to explore their unique interests and skills as they develop their understanding of the world around them. The educators develop trusting and collaborative relationships with the children and their families and foster a strong sense of community within the Service.

CEEC has been architecturally and expertly designed by a team of specialists, under the guidance of our early childhood leadership team, and is a beautiful and exceptional educational facility. CEEC has a separate well-resourced Preschool and Early Learning Centre each with a beautiful garden learning environment specifically designed for each age group. A community dining area joins our Early Learning Centre to our Preschool where our in-house chef prepares and serves nutritious meals daily using seasonal and fresh ingredients.

Located close to Cheltenham train station, bus stop and M2 onramp, CEEC also offers convenient parking and secure building access for peace of mind. Why not book a tour of this inspiring and community-focused early education centre today?

Meet the team

Meet the team

At Cheltenham Early Education Centre, we pride ourselves on our exceptional team and that we employ more staff per child ratio and more qualified staff than the regulatory authorities require. Management and our leadership team are all early childhood teachers. As lifelong learners, our educators all engage in ongoing professional learning and career development. Our Service runs in-house training for our team and encourages and supports educators to participate in external training and higher qualifications.

Many of our teachers and educators have worked within our Sydney Early Education Centres for 5 to 15 years. From music to art, language and STEM, our educators each bring a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and experiences to our Service. They work collaboratively to combine their skills to ensure the best possible outcome for the children.

Our team are highly qualified and experienced and display a natural affinity and love for children. We believe these qualities are vital to your children’s happiness, care and education.

Parent communication and involvement

Parent communication and involvement

From a child’s first orientation, the educators at Cheltenham Early Education Centre work with every family to foster respectful, collaborative and supportive relationships. These relationships continue to flourish and grow through a child’s first time at the centre and help them to develop a strong sense of belonging. Most of all, the educators value the diverse knowledge and experiences of every child and their family.

Families are warmly encouraged to participate in the centre’s programs and activities. This includes sharing a delicious chef-prepared meal with their child, participation in special events throughout the year, or sharing a special skill or interest. The centre also hosts events that provide families with opportunities to connect with each other and get to know the other families in the Service, for example, family picnics.

Educators share updates and learning about each child through the Storypark and Xplor apps to keep parents connected to their child’s time at the centre. The Service also holds various information sessions and meetings throughout the year that encourage parental input into the program and curriculum. In addition to 1:1 meetings to discuss their child’s progress, parents are always welcome each day to chat with the friendly CEEC team.

My daughter was very happy going to CEEC. The educators are really great and taught her so many things. We moved to a different suburb and had to enroll her to a new day care but she always said she wants to go back to CEEC. Highly recommend this day care.

Highly recommend! My daughter started attending CEEC at age 1 when it first opened and the transition for her and I has been incredibly easy thanks to the team of staff who work at the centre. As a whole, they are welcoming and friendly, helpful with advice when I ask for it, and have all individually built a rapport with my daughter. What drew me to enrol in the centre originally were the facilities. I'd seen the centre being constructed for some time and it was clear to see the outside grounds would be a dream for any child to explore. My first visit inside confirmed it - every detail had been considered and the toys and equipment provided are state of the art. The activities the children do are always varied, and the learning approach adopted by the centre (RIE) to foster self confidence in the kids is inspiring. The level of communication from the educators is also a big positive for me, with access to updates on sleep, meal times and toileting throughout the day as well stories and photos about what they get up to. A transition to a new childcare centre is difficult for any young child, and this was not the first experience for us, but I could see the team of staff were doing everything they could to assist my daughter in settling in as smoothly as possible. Even in the early days when my daughter would cry as I left her, I knew she was excited to be there and calmed quickly after I left. Now, she will enthusiastically march in on her own and is happy when I pick her up. I’ve never had the sense she has had a bad day while at CEEC. I’m sure all mums can relate to how relieving it feels to know your child is happy when out of your care, and CEEC has certainly given me that confidence.
