About Dino-mite Family Daycare

I’m a dedicated family daycare educator with 8 years of experience working with children from all different backgrounds. I have 4 adult kids, and 3 amazing little grandchildren. I bring not only professional knowledge but also life experience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children as they grow.

At my daycare, children enjoy a play-based learning program in a safe and nurturing home environment. Through play, your child will develop essential social, emotional, and problem-solving skills while building confidence and independence.

For older children, I also offer a School Readiness Program, helping prepare them for the transition to primary school with fun, hands-on activities that foster early literacy, numeracy, and self-help skills.

I believe every child is unique, and I take the time to create a warm, inclusive space where they feel valued, respected, and supported.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

I believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. My role as an educator is to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive home environment where children feel respected, valued, and supported in their learning journey.

My program is play-based, as I believe play is the foundation of learning. Through play, children develop confidence, independence, and important social and emotional skills that prepare them for life. I encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving by providing opportunities for both structured and unstructured experiences that are meaningful and fun.

I am committed to celebrating and respecting diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, ensuring that every child feels a true sense of belonging. By building trusting partnerships with families, I aim to create a strong support network where we work together to guide children’s growth and development.

A key part of my philosophy is supporting children in becoming school-ready by nurturing early literacy, numeracy, self-help skills, and resilience in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate.

Most importantly, I believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged — and I am dedicated to creating a home-like learning environment where children can explore, discover, and shine.

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

The health, safety, and wellbeing of every child in my care is my highest priority. I provide a clean, safe, and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and grow with confidence. My service follows strict health and safety practices, including regular cleaning, risk assessments, and supervision to ensure children are always protected.

I actively promote healthy eating habits by encouraging nutritious food choices and fostering a positive attitude toward mealtimes. Families are supported in providing balanced meals, and children are encouraged to try a variety of healthy foods in a fun and relaxed way. I believe that developing healthy habits early in life sets the foundation for a lifetime of wellbeing.

I am committed to working in partnership with families to support children’s health, hygiene, safety, and overall development in a respectful and caring environment.
