We’ve only been at Little Locals Auchenflower for 2–3 weeks, but I already feel confident enough to share our experience.<br>My son started daycare at 3.5 years old, having never attended daycare before and speaking absolutely no English. We had been in Australia for just over a month when we tried another centre, and unfortunately that experience left us with some very difficult memories.<br><br>Little Locals has been a completely different story.<br><br>From our very first interaction, Solmaz, the Academic Supervisor, gave us a genuine sense of trust and reassurance. The care, structure and educational approach we’ve experienced since then make us feel that the values she represents are reflected throughout the centre.<br><br>Every educator we’ve met has been professional, attentive and genuinely caring. They are constantly engaged with the children and seem to put real thought into creating happy, meaningful experiences for them. Even the kitchen staff and bus drivers have been incredibly warm and kind.<br><br>We also really appreciate the detailed daily reports, clear communication, thoughtful food choices and wonderful facilities.<br><br>It’s still early for us, and we haven’t experienced every part of the educational program yet. But after our previous experience, the most valuable thing Little Locals has given us is peace of mind.<br><br>Seeing our son begin to settle, connect and enjoy his days here — despite having no English and no previous daycare experience — after only a few weeks means so much to us.<br><br>A big thank you to the entire Little Locals Auchenflower team for making this transition such a positive one for our family. ❤️

Carter has been at Little Locals for almost two years now, and he absolutely loves it. We’ve had such a wonderful experience with the centre and feel so lucky to have found a place where the educators genuinely care about the children and their development.<br><br>Ms. Rae is an amazing Centre Manager, she is always so warm, welcoming and lovely. The centre itself is always beautifully kept, organised and has such a positive environment.<br><br>Mr. Jett is wonderful with the children and always makes learning fun and engaging. We’ve also been so grateful to Ms. Shalom for taking over the Junior Kindy class and putting so much thought and effort into creating a learning schedule and routine for the kids.<br><br>It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Carter is somewhere he feels happy, comfortable and cared for. We are incredibly lucky to be part of a centre that genuinely cares about the children, their learning and their wellbeing.

I can’t sing LLA’s praises enough. From the beauty and quality of the physical space, to the expertise and compassion of the staff and educators, plus everything in between - LLA is a wonderful home away from home for my little one. I am continuously impressed with the quality and creativity of the education my son receives. The care he is shown is exactly what I would hope for when he is not with me.<br><br>My son (15mo) confidently reaches for his educators and other staff, and clearly feels safe and comfortable in their care. I receive regular updates to keep me informed throughout his day, including sweet stories and photos.<br><br>Everything the educators and staff do at LLA gives me comfort and confidence that my son is in the best hands (second to me of course).

We transferred our son here about a month ago. He always leaves the center happy. Miss Rae is very accommodating since our stay and play sessions and made sure my son is well adjusted, she’s always ready to help. All of the educators are wonderful, Ms Geraldine, Mr Jet, Ms Carla and Ms Maddie made sure my son doesn’t feel left out as the “new kid” in the room. You can see the kids love and respect their educators as well.

I've had my daughter in the kindy room at Little Local Auchenflower for the past four months and the experience so far has been very positive. The educators seem engaged and the class of kids very friendly. My daughter is thoroughly enjoying her experience and I would highly recommend the kindy program!

We had both our girls at Little Locals for many years, moving from the baby room through to pre kindy and loved the centre. The educators were so responsive and welcoming. The management arranged some incredible events (Christmas, movie nights). Our girls will miss LL but look back on our time there fondly. thanks again team!

We have absolutely loved our time at Little Locals Auchenflower! My 3 year old started in the baby room just after he turned 1 and the entire experience has been a positive one. Every educator shows kindness and compassion towards the children and their parents. The LL community is not only educational but also nurturing, catering to each individual child's needs. I would highly recommend Little Locals Auchenflower!

This is an absolute jackpot. Hands down the best daycare around. We moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane when my little one was 3, and I visited pretty much every daycare on the north side. From the moment we walked into LL Auchenflower, Tijana and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Big shoutout to the amazing management team Liz and Rae, the beautiful teachers Geraldine, Maddie and Velie, and Joe in the kitchen, plus all the other wonderful teachers and staff I may have missed. Every single one of you made our two years there so special. Every term they somehow managed to surprise us with fun events and excursions. There was always something exciting for the kids to look forward to. Thank you for taking such incredible care of B and giving us memories we’ll never forget. Bonus points for the lovely parent friendships we made along the way too! Couldn’t recommend more ❤️

We had two kids who've attended Little Locals Auchenflower. It was an absolutely rewarding experience and decision which we should have done a lot sooner. Our kids spent three years at the centre which we all truly enjoyed. Our children were always excited to come in in the morning and hesitant to go home. Our children were treated well as if they were one of their own. We would like to thank all the lovely carers we have met at the centre through those years, Ms Rae, Ms Geraldine, Ms Maddie, Ms Velli, Ms Ana, Ms Maham, Mr Jett and Jovel, Ms Loz and Tijana. Can't forget the cheerful Joe the chef. The place is perfect if you're looking for a place for your children!!

We have been with this centre for over 2.5 years, and while my son had many beautiful memories early on, the past six months have unfortunately turned that experience into a nightmare. The educators themselves are supportive and genuinely listen, but serious safety issues have been ignored at a management level. During this period, my son has repeatedly been placed with a child who displays violent behaviour. I personally witnessed a frightening incident where this child grabbed another child's head and slammed it into an iron pole. My son has come home multiple times with bite marks, scratches, and even a near-miss injury close to his eye. Despite being informed, the child’s parents have consistently refused to acknowledge these incidents, and the centre has taken no meaningful action to ensure safety for the rest of the children. I’m aware of several other parents who have experienced similar situations, yet there has been no visible effort from the centre to address the recurring behavioural risks or to protect the wider group of children. In addition, over the past 2.5 years, I have quietly observed the owner pushing out two wonderful Centre Coordinators—both of whom genuinely cared for the children and staff. This raised early concerns about the management culture, and the recent safety issues have made it impossible for us to continue. We have ultimately made the extremely difficult decision to withdraw our child to ensure his safety and wellbeing. I am sharing this review so other parents are fully aware of our experience and can make an informed decision.
