Being an Educator I provide and maintain a quality childcare service in a safe, hygienic and caring environment of my family home. I have a Certificate III in Children's Services, a current First Aid Certificate to 'Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting', a WWCC Ochre Card, and a National Police Check. As per my Philosophy I aim to give the children guidance to develop confidence in their own abilities physically, socially and intellectually through Educational Planning & Programming with a focus on each child. Family support & contributions to decisions in my program are welcomed. I believe that every child is unique with their own interests, ideas and needs which I encourage them to build on and develop their skills through lots of fun play and learning experiences. Age appropriate Games, Toys, Puzzles, and Books are provided as well as Outdoor Equipment for physical development, Arts & Crafts, and Connecting with our Community through excursions to the Palmerston Library, Parks and Museums. I practice and follow the guidance of Darwin Family Day Care, the National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
