The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2026.

State Government Approved Programs
To BE Me is Guardian’s exclusive learning program specifically designed for each age and stage of your child’s early years.
The program includes resources and tools that support learning and make it easy to see your child’s progress along Learning and Development Pathways.
It groups your child’s learning into seven areas to help you see this progress clearly. Each of these areas has behaviours or skills that are generally linked to each age and stage.
Children receive their own My Learning and Development Book, which is updated regularly with their progress.

Baby Welcome when you first start. This touches every aspect of their first 12 months in a Centre.

Our unique program for children aged 3-4 and 4-5 years old ensures they are supported to develop the important emotional, social, and thinking skills they need to make A Flying Start to School.

Managing allergies and intolerances is part of how we keep mealtimes safe and enjoyable. Every child’s needs are carefully tracked, meals are supervised by permanent educators, and allergens are strictly controlled.

We’ve had such a positive experience with Guardian Child Care. The team is incredibly supportive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the children’s development. Both our 3-year-old and 5-year-old absolutely love going each day, and they’ve been attending since they were just 1 year old. The educators put a lot of effort into creating a calm, engaging, and safe environment. Their transition-to-school program has been fantastic for our eldest—he’s become so confident, independent, and ready for the next step. It’s honestly amazing how much they learn there. Our 5-year-old can even count to 10 in French, which still surprises us! We’ve always felt included and well-informed as parents, with great communication from the staff. The centre really goes above and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education our kids receive. Highly recommend Guardian to any family looking for a nurturing, structured, and enriching place for their children.

We started at Guardian Caulfield North just over two months ago and couldn't be happier with our expeirence so far. Leaving your child in the care of somebody else can be an incredibly daunting expeirence, but Mariah and Lexi lead a team that work hard to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive at the centre. The team in the Nursery room are outstanding, taking the time to listen to the requirements of our son, offering warmth, care and excitement every day and always feeding back on the events of the day. Our son looks forward to daycare days and thrives in the environment thanks to the team. Special mentions must go to Jocelin, Sue and Edith in Nursery 2, who go above and beyond for the children in their care each and every day. Couldn't recommend more highly!
