Our son has been very happy here for the past 2 years. There is very low staff turnover and all the educators are so passionate and caring. The centre is well organised and clean. There is also great food prepared by chef mary.

We initially enrolled our son with EDGE in early 2024, then by early 2025 I thought that changing him to a closer from home childcare was a good idea, but I was wrong. We are grateful that we were accepted back. Our son enjoys attending his childcare again, he loves the music, messy playing, doing crafts, painting, dancing, story time, the food and the sandpit. Also, he likes to play with his friends and he feels safe with the educators. Every day the educators have some different activities to keep him busy. We appreciate that the educators were very supportive when he returned. We can see it as we noticed positive changes in his behavior at home. He is a happy, hungry, curious toddler again.

My little one has been attending Edge since 2022. I've always been a huge fan of the centre, but with recent management change, we are even more in love. Everyone is welcoming and the new additions to the communal areas make it even more comforting. Everyone is easily approachable, answering questions and happy to have a chat. It gives a real family vibe. I am impressed with the changes and happy that we still have time in our journey at the centre to enjoy the successes of the new feel of the centre.

Early edge learning Charnwood is an amazing facility. I made the regrettable decision to move my daughter from Early edge to another day care centre , this was big mistake!! I am so greatful for Early edge to take us back so quickly .You feel the love as you walk through the school❤️ The educators really care for your kids. My daughter loves going to her Early edge which has made the transition easier for me . Thank you

Two stars is only because there are a few really energetic involved carers who we adore. There are also some (many) who leave children in wet nappies and who actively ignore the last child in the room to get out as early as possible. The centre really needs to be employing their staff until 6.10 or only charging me until 5.50/5.55 if they’re going to treat my son like an inconvenience after this time. Their fee system is also really shady and they don’t take complaints even remotely seriously.

I’d like to withdraw my original review, or at least offer an EDIT. I have seen such an improvement in care, my son loves it there and I’m a big fan of all the carers he now has. We’re moving centres bc of geographical logistics, and I know my son will really miss it. If I’m being totally fair, I have been contacted after every complaint I’ve lodged, and noticed communication increase from it, and care improve. Obviously none of us want our children to suffer but I do realise these carers are human and no one intentionally inflicted harm upon my son. And it sounds like nappy mishaps are a common occurrence in most centres. —————— I have had to contact this centre 3 times regarding my son coming home in dirty nappies. I think we’re now on 8 occasions. My son was left in his nappy so long today it had visibly wet the front and back of his pants. The day before my mum picked him up with a dirty nappy. He hasn’t had nappy rash in months, and today it came back so badly he was in such agony that he was shaking and screaming as I changed him. He was bawling his eyes out afterward so badly we had to give him nurofen. I’m sad to give this review because although I feel they’re dishonest about fees, a lot of the individual carers are really loving and just fantastic with the kids. I can’t give a place that has literally NEGLECTED my child after I entrusted them with his care, more than one star.

This daycare centre is truly amazing. Not only are the staff very friendly and caring but my son( he has been attending for nearly two years now ) absolutely loves coming to “school” each day to learn new experiences and to play with the friends he has made along the way. Highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a centre for their child/ren Always upon arrival each morning you get a warm welcome from reception.

Beautiful centre. Great educators and such a lovely receptionist. My daughter absolutely loves attending and took a liking to the educators right away.

I would thoroughly recommend to not choose this centre to care for your little ones. Horrendous higher management a culture is adapted of bullying and fear if you voice concerns, a dismissive approach is always met when raising concerns. Despite voicing extreme concerns after multiple neglectful incident and injuries occurring and a meeting taking place that the CEO had not attended due to the concerns clearly not being high enough it has been over a month of asking for any action or investigation taken place to no answers despite giving the centre time to address and rectify the concerns. I have witnessed things that no parent should when dropping off and collecting her child. My recommendation on if you have children enrolled would be to collect your children at a time during the day where it is not usual such as the middle of the day and you will be disappointed with the lack of supervision, care and comfort given to your little humans. I am highly concerned even this review will result in further bullying however it is my right to voice and right a review. I will give two educators in the whole centre credit for being employed for Edge as they truly care for the children despite them the other good educators have left no stability is offered. I witnessed the most beautiful, kind and loving older educator belittled and yelled at on the floor by a higher up staff for putting the washing in the wrong area. Horrible horrible Centre
