It’s hard to believe that this is my daughter’s last year at daycare before she starts prep next year. She has been part of this centre for three wonderful years and absolutely loves it here. She has made such amazing friends, and it’s bittersweet knowing she won’t get to see many of them again at school. Over the years, she has grown so much — thanks to the incredible educators who have supported her learning, nurtured her curiosity, and cared for her with so much love while I was at work. She adores her educators — Miss Neelam, Miss Dilini and Miss Uygen who have made each day so much fun and full of learning. A big thank you also to the management team, Miss Sue and Miss Rasanga. We truly appreciate the whole team for always listening to parents, creating such fun events, and making every day special for the children. And last but not least, the lovely Miss Clare, who brightens everyone’s day with her warm smile and delicious meals for our little ones. We’re so grateful for all the memories, care, and support over the years. This place will always hold a special spot in our hearts.

This centre is beautiful and modern. All the staff are so friendly. I love that they provide extra curricular activities for the kids. They have a rewards program and they provide breakfast for kids if needed and coffee for the parents. Each day you are given a summary of your child's day through their app with photos, nap times and how much they ate.

We love this centre! My daughter has come leaps and bounds since starting here. She has so much more confidence and learns so much everyday! I toured quite a few centres before this one and none of them felt like the right fit. This centre is big but not too big and it doesn't feel like she gets lost in the chaos. The facilities are lovely and modern and the staff are fab. All the teachers, not just hers greet you by name and are all so friendly. We can't wait to see how far our daughter comes over the next few years of her kindy journey at Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Bridgeman Downs and I'm so grateful I went with my gut and kept searching until I found them!

At Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Bridgeman Downs, the Educators embrace the Early Years Learning Framework’s definition of play-based learning, and the curriculum is designed to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom.
The centre is structured to allow the environment to become the third educator. Children are encouraged to explore many different avenues of learning and engage in self-directed play. Educators also provide open-ended experiences to develop imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The Educators recognise that every child and their development is unique. They provide an environment that is responsive to the children’s capabilities in order for all children to experience feelings of success and accomplishment. The aim is to create a lifelong love of learning, and support a successful transition to early years schooling.
The children are cared for in the following groups:
At Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Bridgeman Downs, the children enjoy a wide variety of seasonal and local produce, with a multicultural menu that provides more than half of their daily nutrition requirements. The chef-designed meals also include many vegetables and herbs from the centre’s own vegetable gardens. The centre works in consultation with families to accommodate any child’s allergies, intolerances, their cultural background or other family preferences.
Mealtimes provide an important opportunity for children to develop good eating habits and learn about nutrition and food variety. They are also an important time for social interaction with other children and adults.
The Educators adopt meal time strategies to teach children about good nutrition. These include things like involving children in creating the menu, encouraging younger children and toddlers to talk about healthy food choices, providing children with opportunities to eat food and engage in the mealtime routines of different cultures, talking with children about nutritious food during mealtimes.
The parents don’t miss out either, with the centre’s own barista providing fresh coffee every morning upon drop-off to enjoy with a baked treat prepared by the centre chef.
Morning
Arthur is nine months old and starts his day outside in the sandpit with his Educator and friends. His mother enjoys a coffee before she heads off to work.
Lunchtime
The children are sitting outside with their Educators, who are singing some nursery rhymes. Arthur claps along while they sing and blow bubbles.
Afternoon
The nursery children are playing side by side with the soft building blocks. Arthur’s Educator helps to guide him to build a tower with his blocks.
Morning
Jenna is two and a half years old and always likes to play in the home corner with her friends. They pretend to cook some breakfast and then get some cakes into the oven.
Lunchtime
After lunch the children head outside to enjoy the centre’s dance program. Jenna and her friends are watching the Educator as she explains the moves, and then the children try to copy.
Afternoon
Jenna and her friend Ali are playing a game of shops. Jenna uses the toy shopping trolley to pretend to be the customer, while Ali is on the cash register.
Morning
Evan is four years old and starts his day at the craft table with his friend Luke. They’re learning how to make some origami swans, as part of their Japanese language program.
Lunchtime
After lunch, Evan enjoys some quiet time with a few puzzles at the table with his friends. They swap around as they finish each one, before heading off to join in storytime.
Afternoon
Evan and his friends are having some fun in the dress up corner. The boys all wear their adventurer outfits and use their toy binoculars to pretend to look for wild animals.

I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this centre! The management and educators truly go above and beyond to care for the children — it’s not just a childcare centre, it feels like a community. You can tell how passionate they are about creating a nurturing, fun, and safe environment where every child is valued. One of the lovely touches is the morning coffee station for parents — an absolute lifesaver on those busy mornings when you need a little pick-me-up (and yes, it’s free!). It’s such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about supporting families too. The chef is incredible — the food they prepare for the children is not only healthy and balanced but smells amazing every day! You can tell the kids love it. My son has been attending grow for the last 2 years and Miss Ella has been with us since the beginning. She is the most kind, patient and dedicated educator you could ask for to care for your little one. My son has some special needs and Miss Ella and the centre have been so supportive in delivering the extra care he requires on a daily basis. I can't say it enough how grateful I am to have such a special place to send my son where I know he will be loved, well cared for and have the best time. Seeing the smile on his face everyday and the happiness going to pre kindy gives him is everything to me.
