My daughter attended for almost 9 months in the baby room before I'm now finally pulling her out as i can't in good faith leave her in their care anymore.<br><br>It's a shame because it's such a beautiful facility. The activities used to be creative and sensory seeking that you wouldnt typically find in the home. From posting with colourful rice or shredded coconut that filled the mirror table with hidden animals, to painting and interesting and fun art projects. Now the activities are ' they read a book' or ' rolled a ball' since the change of staff happened.<br>The passion and creativity is lost 😔<br><br>At least twice I've caught them out of ratio, the second time my daughter would have been the 6th baby under 18 months in the room with only 1 carer. The excuse? " theyre being well behaved". I insisted that was not within the ratio, that i couldnt leave her there by law, and only then was another staff called. The ratio she herself admitted was meant to be 1:4.<br><br>The last few drop offs since the staff have had an overhaul, my daughter has been dreading drop offs where previously she had run into the room into the carers open arms paying us no mind. Now she screams and cries which is not like her at all.<br><br>Twice now she's not been fed her main food source while in Strides care. The first incident she spent spent all day (11 hrs) without being given her breastmilk while under the age of 1, the second ( 2 weeks ago at age 14 months) dropped off as they were finishing up morning tea. I told them she hadn't eaten as she wasnt hungry at 7am. Her last meal was 5am and will need fed before lunch. She was still not fed by them until lunch time at 12:30. That left a 7 and a half hour gap between meals. She was in their words "screaming and crying inconsolebly for over half an hour" too much to be able to be put down for her first nap earlier in the day.... and no one called us. Ofcourse she would be??? She would have been starving and missed her first nap... so exhausted aswell. I told them id be in the city if they needed anything as i was not working at the time of drop off. WHY WAS I NOT CALLED?<br><br>I only found out at pick up when checking her logs and asking about how her day was. I (politely) asked them why she wasnt fed Morning tea or offered a snack as i asked, to no answer. I asked them to make a note of this and get back to me after speaking with the main carer of the day. I waited a week. No answer. So i called the center manager ( very politely again) who wrote down our conversation notes then to follow up. Another week went by and still no contact or resolution.<br><br>My daughter had ( for the 4th time) her pictures taken and posted in group stories on their app. Before her enrolment and each time thereafter we had specifically requested her privacy. On none of these occasions were there notes made as requested to remedy the situation anywhere for following staff to see to stop the incident from reoccuring. While it is a stride app, these photos are easily able to be dowloaded and screenshoted just as with social media and we did not consent to her photos being shared on her forms when we filled them out. This was a beach of her privacy.<br><br>The previous staff had always called when there had been any issues of any kind. I'm not sure why things have gone downhill this much but she wont be back.<br><br>The feeling of sending your child somewhere where theyre meant to be cared for but instead left that upset for an extended period of time and also not fed their main source of nutrition on what is now more than one occasion honestly was extremely upsetting. Especially whilst knowing that theyre so nonchalant with having only 1 staff member in a room with out of ratio number of babies due to "good behavior".<br><br>Very concerning.

All of the Elizabeth Quay team are AMAZING! Special shout out to Chloe, Divya, Menuka, and Ciara - our bub started at 8 months old and not only did they nurture their wellbeing and growth, but they are so supportive to us as the parents too, providing regular updates throughout the day. The Elizabeth Quay centre is very clean and equipped with multiple play areas for different ages. The food they serve is healthy and varied. The environment is positive and enriching. We’ve definitely noticed our child’s development in language, socialising, play and creativity increase since being here. Honestly head office needs to give all these amazing women a raise ☺️🥇because everything about the level of service from the Elizabeth Quay centre is perfection. Any kid would be so lucky to be cared for by this dream team.

Both of my kids grew up in this centre. They have close relationships with Chloe and Ciara. Very happy with this centre and highly recommend to other families.

I recommend The Stride Perth CBD because the team is amazing with the kids and understand the needs. A lot of fun and creativity my child love to been there. Good educator with good skills and knowledge and the center is very clean, food amazing and good caring environment. They also respect different culture and care for the kids and the building are very safe with security <3 <3 recommend

As a parent who is new to Australia, I was very worried about sending my 19-month-old son, to daycare for the first time. I was not sure how he would cope in a new environment. From the very beginning, the team at Stride Early Learning Perth gave us a lot of support. They helped my son with his transition in many ways, and now drop-offs have become much easier. It has been only three weeks, but I can already see a lot of positive improvement. He is developing his language and social skills, using more words, and learning good table manners. He has also started eating by himself, which makes me very happy. I also really appreciate that the centre sends regular updates through their app. They share photos, activities, sleep hours, and daily updates about what my son is doing. As a parent, this really helps me understand his day and gives me peace of mind. Seeing the photos makes me happy because I can see that he is enjoying himself. I am very thankful to Ciara, Divya, Chloe, Shweta, Menuka and Celina for their care and support. They helped both my son and me feel comfortable and confident. I truly appreciate the care and effort from the whole team and highly recommend Stride Early Learning Perth to other parents.

Excellent early learning centre, the educators conduct themselves professionally always prioritising on building a real, consistent and genuine connection with the kids and babies. Our kids have always felt safe and cared for at the centre. Stride has honestly done such an amazing job with our children. They get so excited about going to daycare, and always look forward to seeing the educators. My daughter knows nearly everyone’s name and has learnt so much since she has started there. Our son started at just 6 months old and has also learnt so much. They put in the time and effort with all children. The chef makes absolutely amazing food which my kids always have so many bowls off. I could not recommend Stride Early learning enough. Thank you Ciara, Chloe, Viki , Alison, Menuka, Celina and all the staff at Perth cbd Stride early learning. Keep up the great work and also caring for my kids everyday :D

Excellent early learning centre; educators conduct themselves professionally always prioritising on building a real, consistent and genuine connection with the kids and babies, where our sons have been feeling safe and cared for with nurturing authenticity. Stride’s educational programs are fun and put emphasis on teaching about nature, sustainability, science, STEMs, self care, etc. It is based on a purposely built space designed to cater to children’s needs as well as been nested in the heart of the city, offering top level facilities (secured and monitored parking, secured access to centre via dedicated lift, etc). Their chef makes the most delicious meals! And their menu is always very well balanced. Their admin team is also easy going, friendly and always happy to help you understanding how everything works. I can’t recommend the Stride Perth CBD team enough! 😃

We’ve seen clear progress in our baby’s development since starting at this daycare. His language has really taken off — he comes home with new words, sings songs, and counts with confidence. His motor skills have improved too, and he’s becoming more independent — often trying things on his own before asking for help. He also proudly helps with routines like tidying up after meals. Most special for us is the respect he’s learned — using “please” and “thank you” naturally in daily life. It’s a joy to see. A big thank you to the wonderful caregivers. Every time we drive past, he shouts with excitement — a clear sign of how happy and safe he feels there. We truly couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do for our baby ⭐️
