I feel the need to keep the reviews of this centre current. The centre manager needs to have a real reality check. The influence she has on all of the precious children that come through the centre feels more like an anxiety fueled power trip disguised as organisation and fun. Im sure in the past (all these 5 star reviews are old if you care) the stars were warranted but after 6 sessions this year my daughter was scared of kindy moving forward, I pulled her out immediately after she showed signs of being scared to eat something incase she got in trouble (again only directed at centre manager) Kids are meant to be carefree and fun not regimented.

Muddy has been amazing with our child. She has ensured our little one has felt safe, secure and has had an absolute ball there with lots of engaging activities and.outside visitors. She has fostered a sense of community and has also helped our child feel confident and have the skills ready to start school next year. We will miss Muddy dearly and would highly recommend this kindy to anyone wanting a nurturing, fun environment for their child.

We are so grateful to have been reccomended to this kindy. We had a wonderful experience, where our son absolutely thrived under the expert guidance of Muddy and her team. Muddy and Cathy are experienced, loving, caring, passionate professionals that really can see the children for who they really are. I found that they really care about the development of each child and offered tailored expertise and for us that has made all the difference in the world. When people are passionate about what they do it creates a nurturing and safe environment, and that is exactly what we found at this kindy. I really can’t recommend this place enough. My only regret is not coming here sooner.

We were very lucky to get in this kindy after moving to the coast from oversea and it was a recommendation from another kindy closer to home we first talked to. Their play based learning curriculum is very adaptable bc it’s children’s interest oriented. Muddy is always nice and welcoming but also firm at the same time which was our son just needed. We’re very happy and appreciated with his progress and transition before moving up to prep. Definitely recommend this kindy for everyone who wants to put their kids in a happy playful learning environment with clear boundaries.

Our daughter has just finished her time at Alexandra-Mooloolaba Community Kindergarten. The kindergarten itself is extremely well maintained. The educators are caring, proud and taught our daughter the necessary skills and independence for a smooth transition into the schooling system. Muddy is welcoming and has a wealth of knowledge. We feel very privileged to be a part of the Alex-Mooloolaba kindy! Additionally, the kindergarten is environmentally and health conscious which was important to me in a kindergarten. The most beautiful kindy you could ask for. The curriculum is children-led, filled with play and learning opportunities which foster curiosity and excitement. The environment is calming and inviting. Muddy and Cathy are amazing teachers, role models, and friends to all the children there. We have been blown away by how much our daughter has grown and developed her independence and confidence. We wish she could stay at this kindy forever! In the words of my daughter: I love my kindy because I love the activities and the very nice teachers and it makes me feel so excited and happy

Alexandra-Mooloolaba Community Kindergarten is absolutely outstanding, I would give more stars if I could. Muddy and the team are wonderful, they create a beautiful environment where the children have the most wonderful experiences. Their philosophy is play based learning. I feel so lucky that my daughter was able to attend, what a blessing. My daughter is about to move into prep and I feel so comfortable knowing that she is fully prepared. Highly recommended and thankful for this kindy.

We have been lucky enough to have 2 children attend Alex-Mooloolaba Community Kindy with both having 2 years each of high quality care. This wonderful and nurturing environment has provided great structure, responsibility, fun, warmth and feed the curiosity of our little ones minds. It has been the best preparation for that next step up to primary school endorsed by the school who always comment on how quickly kids from Alex-Mooloolaba Kindy settle in. The other notable endorsement comes from my little ones who would regularly get upset when told it was not the day they go to Kindy……what more could you want! Well done Muddy and Team!

A wonderful environment for learning and growing.

Our son has never been in care prior to starting kindy at the most amazing place out. Muddy and all of the educators are caring, approachable and kind to all of the children and our families. All of the children are kind and inclusive. Alex mooloolaba kindy is so clean and well run, the educators are fastidious about ensuring the children wash their hands and are supportive of embracing each child’s interests and we feel our little man will be more then ready for his commencement of school next year. He absolutely loves his time there.
