I don’t see where five star reviews are coming from for this daycare centre to be completely honest! . I moved to Rockhampton in March and this daycare was convenient for me near where we live. I took my child out 1 month later only because a months notice was policy in the contract you sign which I did not realise. The main things that show care in a daycare setting is service and cleanliness. OMG this centre is dirty. Even the side road is littered with toys most of the time from unsupervised children that seem bored, with no distraction just throwing them over the fence. Toys were thrown at my son on the first day here.<br><br>Every drop off you could see my son felt no belonging, boring and it was not fun leaving him in the messy grounds that totally lacked activities or fun aspects. The sandpit was not inviting at all with old outdated equipment.<br><br>The staff did their best but I feel the entire environment was poorly managed and totally unstructured. Children need to feel safe. I was also applaud at the children walking around the centre with green runny noses including babies barely walking. My child was sick after the 3rd week here.<br><br>I do not recommend this centre at all.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Kawana Journey Early Learning. Our two boys have both settled so well into their rooms, and it has been amazing watching them grow in such a caring and supportive environment. The educators and management team are always so warm, welcoming, and approachable. From day one, they have genuinely put our children’s interests, wellbeing, and development first, which has given us so much confidence and peace of mind as parents. We are so grateful for the love, patience, and effort the team puts into caring for our boys every day. Highly recommend Kawana Journey Early Learning to any family looking for a nurturing and family-oriented centre.

Absolutely love Kawana our girl has only been going a short time but you can see how much it’s shaping her and the new things she learns. The educators are amazing and you can see just how much they care about them and reaching their goals brings us so much comfort getting updates thru the app and seeing photos of what she gets up to!

Journey is a great centre. The educators are supportive, communicative and great at what they do. My little girl has come leaps and bounds since starting here three years ago.

Enjoyed meeting with the staff and they were awesome with the children 😀
