My daughter attended this kindy for six months in 2024. Unfortunately, there were several issues that concerned me as a parent:
1. Lack of privacy in the bathroom area. The toilet is located right at the entrance. Many times when I came to pick up my odaughter, I saw children sitting on the toilet completely unattended, with all parents walking past them as they were trying to pull their pants up. These were not my kid, but I felt shocked and uncomfortable imagining my own daughter in that situation.
2. High staff turnover. My daughter felt stressed whenever I dropped her off and there was yet another new educator in her room. It affected her sense of stability and safety.
3. Limited outdoor play. There were several days when the children did not go outside at all. At first, I doubted my daughter’s words, but later I found enough evidence to confirm it.
4. Concerns during a toileting incident. One day, when I dropped her off, there were two male educators in the room (one presented as male, and the other appeared to be female). On that same day, my daughter had a toileting issue and needed a full change of clothes. The thought that male staff may have been the ones assisting her made me extremely anxious. I have nothing against male educators personally, but publicly available statistics raise valid concerns for many parents. This was the final reason that led us to leave the centre.
I hope this feedback helps other parents make an informed decision and encourages the centre to review its practices to ensure better privacy, stability, and overall safety for the children.
