Our son attended Gowrie Docklands Kindergarten in 2025, at 4 years old, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care and support he received. A special thank you to Jacqueline Rome, his class coordinator, and to the wonderful educators Rinku, Chiho, and Catherine. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for the children and families are truly outstanding. Our son was always well supported, happy to go to kinder, and came home smiling every single time. Any questions or situations were handled promptly and with great care. Jacqueline’s relationship with our son was always personal, attentive, and went above and beyond our expectations. We don’t have enough words to describe how satisfied and thankful we are. We loved every bit of our time with Gowrie Docklands Kindergarten. We have had an awesome experience with the entire team of Gowrie Kinder. Their unwavering commitment to providing the best for our children is truly commendable. The team's instructional strategies effectively engage students, making learning a dynamic and enjoyable experience. They build a strong and positive rapport with the young curious minds, and their ability to easily connect with students is evident and significantly contributes to a healthy and supportive classroom culture. The team believes in discipline, nurturing curiosity of young children and provide safe space in that environment. We liked the way they incorporated their methods in preparing our son for school next year and we are grateful for their dedication in making sure all children under their care are ready for the next chapter in their lives. Fantastic kinder with fun, positive and vibrant atmosphere, encouraging the kids to engage and enjoy! All the educators show great care and kindness…highly recommended!

I had a really bad experience here to the point where I needed to make a formal complaint to the department. Their words will make you feel so comfortable placing your child here, but in my case the actions did not match. This centre DOES do nappy changes and there were 3 seperate days where my son’s nappy was not changed (as nappies need to be provided). I notified the teachers twice about this and was told that they’d note it down and make sure it doesn’t happen again. I also have a son who has diagnosed development delays - the centre was aware of this but they chose to do things out of scope and without professional support during an interview with my son - which is totally and utterly unacceptable. Not to mention, at a care team meeting specifically for my son, the centre took part saying that my son is coming in underwear and is completely independent using the toilet - which was completely untrue. This centre lacks accountability. Like I said, after multiple incidents I had to go to the department and make a complaint. Check the quality of care thoroughly as they’d say things but the actions didn’t match up in my case.

80% kids are Indian families so if you want your kids to experience multiple culture or local Australian culture you should consider somewhere else. Also, they are lack of management, there is no graduation ceremony for kids leaving for prep next year, no performance, the year end party is just a picnic again with 80% Indian families sitting on in group, no one was even there to make a speech! We have been there for more than one year we don’t even know who is the principle!!! Very disappointed!

We were thrilled with our son’s experience at Gowrie. Throughout his time there, he not only learned English but also built numerous friendships. The kindergarten felt like a second family to him, and he eagerly went to class every day. We are immensely grateful to Gowrie and its compassionate teachers for fostering such a wonderful environment for our son’s growth and happiness.
