Marlee Early Education and Care Centre is a specialised stand-alone service catering to children 2-5 years. We recognise that children need specific skills to support their transition into school, and with this in mind we have a school readiness curriculum designed by our Early Childhood Teacher. This program is founded on the core principles of early literacy, early numeracy, social and emotional development, self-regulation and resilience.
Marlee Early Education and Care Centre features a vast outdoor play area, providing children with numerous opportunities to discover their surroundings, stay active, and engage in limitless play experiences. Our outdoor space is designed to stimulate curiosity and foster a love for nature, with sensory gardens, climbing structures, and dedicated areas for imaginative play. We believe in the value of outdoor learning and provide activities that encourage children to explore the natural world, promoting physical health and cognitive development.
The children at Marlee Early Education and Care Centre have a strong connection to their local community through a range of Community Services #1 programs. They participate in meaningful intergenerational experiences with visits from our Seniors Ukulele Group, explore gardening and sustainability through our Community Garden Group, and learn about helping others in the community through visits to our Food Pantry. These experiences foster a sense of belonging, community engagement, and social responsibility from an early age.
We look forward to welcoming your family to Marlee Early Education & Care.
