We have our 8-month-old at Bluebird, and as first-time parents it was definitely daunting leaving our little one with people we didn’t know. From the very beginning, we felt comfortable and reassured by both the educators and the facilities. The centre is brand new and beautifully maintained, which certainly helped in our decision. Even though our little one only attends once a week, it has been such a blessing having the support of the entire team. Sally, the centre manager, is amazing, and every educator our child has been cared for by has been equally wonderful. Our little one is learning new things, settling in well, and (touch wood) has been very happy. We’re really grateful for the care and support provided. Thank you to the whole Bluebird team.

Meet the team

Meet the team

Hello, my name is Sally and I am the Centre Manager here at Bluebird Early Education Sinnamon Park. With over 25 years of experience in the early childhood sector and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, I am passionate about creating high-quality early learning environment where children, families, and educators can truly thrive.

I believe that the heart of a successful centre lies in its people. I work closely with my team to nurture a culture of collaboration, growth, and shared purpose where every educator feels valued, supported, and inspired. Together, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and education that not only meets but exceeds the standards of the National Quality Framework (NQF).

My approach is both child-centred and community-focused. I prioritise open and genuine communication with families and strive to create a warm, inclusive environment that supports every child’s wellbeing, learning, and development. As a leader, I aim to foster a positive and purposeful workplace where children are respected, educators are empowered, and families feel welcome and connected.

What I love most about my role is the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships-with children, families, and educators-and to watch those connections grow into a community that feels like home. Seeing the joy on a child’s face when they learn something new, or the pride in an educator who feels supported and successful, reminds me every day why I do what I do.

“Children may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” This quote reflects my core belief that relationships, consistency, and heartfelt care are the foundation of meaningful early childhood education.
About the curriculum

About the curriculum

The Kindergarten program is a complete cycle of each individual child’s development. Educators see and learn the ways children take on new knowledge and adapt their teaching practices to cater for them. The environment is busy and forever changing as learning evolves.

Through many literacy games, active outdoor play, and day-to-day activities, Educators strive to get each child ready for their first year of school, providing them with the emotional, physical and intellectual support.

Qualified Teachers constantly critically reflect on their curriculum, ensuring that it’s at its best for the diversity within the centre. A home away from home, where learning takes flight with the little Bluebirds.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Kindy of Kindness - Initiatives may include visits to aged care facilities, baking for the local emergency services, and fund-raising projects to assist charity groups.

Sustainability Program - By taking part in daily sustainable living practices including recycling, composting, worm farming, energy and water saving, the children develop a working understanding of how they can play a vital role in protecting the environment.

Community connections - By forging strong community ties they enable the children to develop a deep sense of belonging and connection to the world around them, construct an understanding of how society works, and begin to recognise and respect the shared values that unite us.

Technology focus - Technology is introduced through a play based approach. Educators role model and assist children to gain new knowledge and to better understand concepts through the designated computer programs.

Health & Nutrition

Health & Nutrition

The centre believes in a hands-on approach to teaching children about food, which is why cooking classes are offered as part of the curriculum.

Children are encouraged to help out where they can, whether that’s chopping fruit for smoothies or pouring them out for everyone.

Food is used as a way to teach children about identifying their needs and attending to them. Children can access drink stations and fruit bowls for a quick snack.

My husband and I were very impressed with the staff and facilities at Bluebird Sinnamon Park when we did our tour a few months ago. The facilities are new, with the main entrance and offices being the newly renovated heritage building onsite. Bluebird has a great variety of toys and play equipment for the children, all food is provided with an incredible looking menu, and the group sizes per room are smaller than other daycares we looked it, which we really liked. The staff have all been very friendly, accommodating, supportive and welcoming. We have done a couple of stay and plays already and are looking forward to our child commencing here in a couple of weeks. Thank you to Sally and the team for making this transition for us an easy one.

Response from the owner 30 Jan 2026

Thank you, Mollie, for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review. It’s great to hear that you and your husband felt so welcomed during your tour and stay and plays, and that the environment, smaller group sizes, and facilities stood out to you. We’re glad Sally and the team have been able to support a smooth and positive transition, and we look forward to welcoming your child as they begin with our community.
