Welcome to First Odyssey Family Day Care.ï¿½ï¿½

The word "odyssey" in Greek mythology means an epic adventure. Importantly, your child will be cared for in a nurturing and safe, small group environment with a maximum of 4 children from ages 6 months. Together we will create and embark on a "journey" of growth and learning with fun experiences tailored to your child's interests. My family daycare service has a large outdoor space and a completely seperate space designed for learning through play. Kathy provides a warm, nurturing and educational environment for the children in her care. Kathy has made our family and our son (15m) feel valued and part of the family day care's community. She is passionate about what she does which is reflected in the learning experiences/environment provided and the bond she has with our son. We are so grateful to have Kathy care for our son as we can always trust that he feels safe, secure and supported :)

Our four year old daughter attends First Odyssey Family Day Care one day a week as we wanted to increase her child care days, but in a family focused environment. She loves the time spent with Kathy, and we could not be happier with the care and enriching activities she is provided. Kathy listened to the goals we have and took into consideration our daughter's interests and abilities. Even though she only attends one day a week, I have seen her knowledge and interest grow and she incorporates this in renewed interest in activities at home. Kathy has a keen focus on providing a warm and safe environment, both physically and emotionally for the children in her care. We are so lucky to have Kathy as part of our daughter's care system.
