I wouldn’t recommend sending your child to Blossom or working there. My younger sister was a trainee in July of this year and left after three weeks because she felt uncomfortable, discriminated against, and bullied as someone who identifies as LGBTQ+. She told me about situations where some staff made extremely inappropriate and unprofessional comments towards each other including towards my sister, the children in their care and even about the parents. It got to the point where my sister's wellbeing was being affected as she was so overwhelmed by the bullying that was happening at this centre everyday when she would go to work. From what we experienced, it didn’t feel like a supportive or respectful workplace at all, let alone somewhere you’d want caring for your young vulnerable and impressionable children. I raised my concerns with the director, Paris, and asked for my contact details to be passed on to the owner as I would love to discuss the dynamic and disgusting behavior that is being enabled by the director. Months later, I still haven’t heard anything back, which makes me feel like either the message wasn’t passed on by the director or the concerns weren’t taken seriously by the owner. When I posted on Facebook asking if anyone else had similar experiences, several former staff reached out and shared stories that matched what my sister went through with the same common denominators in every situation. I don’t think behaviour like this should be ignored, and if sharing my sister's experience helps even one person make an informed choice about this centre, then it feels worth it.

My daughter has been attending for 2 years. All the staff are amazing and I wish I had used this daycare for my son.

We have had a wonderful experience with our daughters time at Blossom Engadine, she has always had positive comments when talking about the educators. We have often spoken to the educators to request extra assistant in her development and the educators are always willing to help. We have also appreciated the communication and organisation of the Engadine centre. The well-run activities and the daily journal and photos gives a great insight into the development of our daughter and we commend the work of Paris and all the Educators.

I had the worst experience with this centre. The lack of empathy from the manager is astonishing. Was asked not to attend for 2 weeks ( waiting on certificate ) then was sent a debt collectors notice for the payment of 2 weeks we were asked not to attend. This is against the law to unlawfully ask for payment when you don't provide the service in question. Having to go through fair trading whist have my career left hanging due to this centre has left me scared. This centre was the only place in the Sutherland shire who had days available. It is very evident why.

Great daycare with friendly and caring staff. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my kids!

Blossom Preschool in Engadine is such a great early learning centre. They teach the children to care about animals through their worm farm, Guinea pigs, fish and rabbit and have a big focus on sustainability and self help skills in their program
