Kindergarten

The Kindergarten Program provides a learning environment that encourages children to think, investigate, explore and solve problems independently. The academic curriculum includes language, maths and science.

The Five Senses Course

In line with the centre’s holistic goals, the Five Senses course uses the senses to introduce children to a range of concepts and learning opportunities. This includes health and safety, social skills, arts and cooking.

Drama & Acting

To nurture individuality and creativity, the centre incorporates a stimulating creativity program that includes poetry, singing, dance, drama and puppetry.

Music

Children can take part in extra-curricular music lessons with skilled professional music teachers. Available instruments including drums, guitar, piano and African drum.

Morning

Anna is 8 months old and new to the centre. In the morning, she cuddles a favourite  teddy while an educator reads her a story about animals in the jungle.

Lunch

After lunch, Anna’s educator helps her play with blocks. She builds a tower and loves watching it grow taller and taller.

Afternoon

Anna and the group are outside this afternoon. They play in the Ancient & Archaeological park, digging in the sandpit and searching for fossils.

Safety

Safety

Our centre provides a secure, nurturing environment where your child’s wellbeing is always our highest priority.

• Our dedicated team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, educational programs, and adherence to national child safety principles.

• Our Kindy children participate in the kindy Program, designed to build confidence, resilience and healthy habits in fun, age-appropriate ways. The program includes learning about body boundaries, personal safety and managing big emotions — all part of giving your child the best possible start to school.

• Our supervisory and senior staff complete regular Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training to ensure they are confident in recognising, responding to and reporting any concerns.

• We proudly work with Gecko and other respected child safety advocate organisations to strengthen personal safety education within our curriculum and enhance our safeguarding practices.

• Our S.A.F.E. framework (Spot, Act, Fix, Explain) empowers all staff to speak up if they see or suspect something isn’t right. With S.A.F.E. in place, we have created a strong culture of accountability where reporting is expected, supported and encouraged.

• Our Active Supervision policy ensures every team member understands and practices Plan, Position, Look & Listen — maintaining vigilant supervision at all times.

Together with our mandatory National Child Safety Training and comprehensive CCTV coverage throughout the centre, these measures ensure we provide a safe, secure and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

We couldn’t be happier with the care and support our family has received from Marsden Early Learning College. From the very beginning, the educators and staff have shown genuine kindness, patience, and care towards our children, making them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn every day. One thing that really stands out is how professional and compliant the centre is. It’s very reassuring as a parent to know they take all regulations, policies, and child safety standards seriously while still creating such a warm and welcoming environment. The centre is always clean, organised, and well-managed, and the staff communicate openly with families about everything involving the children’s care and development. The educators go above and beyond to build strong relationships with both the children and parents. They truly take the time to understand each child’s individual needs and personality, and you can see how much effort they put into helping the children grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Another thing we really appreciate is how understanding and flexible they are with families and work schedules. They genuinely try to support parents wherever possible and are always approachable, accommodating, and willing to work with families to make things easier during busy times. Any issues are resolved within a day or so. It’s such a comforting feeling knowing our children are in an environment where they are loved, supported, and encouraged every single day. We highly recommend Marsden Early Learning College to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy, and professional childcare centre. Best service!!
