Our Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC) service runs every school holiday and is open to primary school children from all schools. Our GSAC centre is constant source of vibrancy and laughter and we love how so many children from different schools come together and meet new friends.
Our Vacation Care programs runs from 7:30am to 6pm.
The best part of our GSAC centre is the 2 hours of fun the children have during their midday swim session! The kids are able to use the pool, water slide and inflatable! Every day each child is swim tested on their ability and confidence in the pool is given a band for the big or little pool.
As well as the swim session we enjoy some kind of physical activity every morning in the stadium and a craft activity in the afternoon. We often run exciting in house excursions at our GSAC service, in the past this has included clinics run by AFL, hockey, netball and NRL pro's, acro-yoga workshops, kids first aid courses and visits from inspiring guests like Westpac Helicopter lifesavers, forensic detectives, Lifeguard Maxi from Bondi Rescue and local MP's
