Welcome to Sunrise Christian School Whyalla Early Learning Centre!
Since 2011 the Sunrise Christian School Whyalla ELC has provided an Early Learning Curriculum that prepares children for school by developing a love of learning.
Our aim is to make our ELC feel like an extension of your home, partnering with you to provide continuity of care for your family. Parents love our faith-based culture, family-friendly environment, and biblical worldview that underpins everything that we do.
Our ELC has qualified and highly experienced staff passionate about caring for and educating children. All 2-to-5-year-olds are welcome at our centre, which is open 48 weeks a year, 5 days a week.
A smooth transition to Reception is one of the benefits of our service. ELC children can get to know the Reception teacher throughout the year.
Since our ELC is at the school, children are also familiar with the environment and surroundings. ELC children participate in school-wide events such as Hot Lunch days, Sports Day, Book Week, Grandparents' Day, and Christmas events.
Our ELC is situated right next to the Kitchen Garden, which allows daily visits to see the chickens, and inspect the veggie patches and provides a space for diverse learning opportunities.
