Pathway to School

Our 3-year-old Long day care and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs nurture young learners as they gain confidence, make decisions, and develop emotional strength and social connections. Children learn to collaborate, problem-solve, and express themselves while building key skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication. They also explore healthy choices, personal responsibility, and creative thinking in an engaging and supportive environment.

We provide inquiry-based curriculum through play - across exciting learning areas, including:

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths)
  • Language and Literacy
  • Active and Involved Citizens
  • Nature Play and Sustainability
  • The Arts
  • Health and Wellbeing

With a balance of small and whole-group experiences, both indoors and outdoors, children are encouraged to wonder, discover, and grow - preparing them for a bright future ahead!

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

Our talented in-house chef, Selena, prepares nutritious and delicious meals tailored to each child’s dietary needs and cultural preferences, often using fresh produce from our veggie garden. Children absolutely love her flavourful chicken curry and wholesome muesli slice!

Selena also leads fun cooking lessons that inspire children to explore food, often linking these activities to their current learning programs. These hands-on experiences teach valuable cooking skills, foster a love for healthy eating, and encourage children to discover new flavours.

Absolutely love Oak on Jellicoe! Consistent, beautiful staff who all know our son’s name and welcome us like family. The centre is beautiful and the rooms are well resourced. Healthy meals and lots of different activities and experiences for the kids each week. We couldn’t be happier ❤️

We love Oak on Jellicoe. The staff are amazing; so kind and caring, and really take the time to get to know and connect with each child. My daughter has a couple educators on her "best friend list", which is not an easy list to get onto 🤣. She loves going to Kindy, and my son loves Junior Kindy. We barely finish saying goodbye to him before he's off playing with friends. So grateful to all the staff there for caring for my children how they do! Definitely recommend 👌🏼
