A beautiful little independent centre, which has been so wonderful for my son! They have great staff, many of whom have been there for years and years. They have fantastic outdoor spaces and beautifully presented rooms. We have been so impressed by the education and the care we have received and we'll miss them all when he goes off to school!

They have great indoor and outdoor play areas, meaning if it rains the kids can still be outside playing and not stuck inside all day. Rooms are big and spacious with plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. Teachers are great very nurturing.

We love our daycare- the teachers are so good natured and positive. They always have beautiful engaging decor for the kids to investigate and outdoor play and autonomy are big factors in their days. Support staff are great and everyone there seems really happy. My kids have completely come out of their shells. "Kids need dirt". ❤️

At Making Waves, the owner is the director to ensure your child's educational and developmental needs are our FIRST priority. Although we are born and bred in the Hunter Valley, our aim is to build a national reputation for excellence in education.
The Making Waves educators have decades of combined experience in childcare, education and welfare in both the private and public sectors. Our indoor and outdoor play spaces have been developed with sustainability and natural elements as a primary focus. Making Waves is just 90 seconds from the Pacific Hwy traffic lights at Warabrook. No waiting for a gap in peak-hour traffic. Turn into Warabrook Blvd, straight through the roundabout, take the next left into Rosegum Rd and all the way to the bottom driveway of the cul-de-sac. Look for the big Making Waves sign. We are a 500m (8-10 minutes) walk from the bus stop near Woolworths or the Warabrook train station, and we have plenty of off-street parking.
Our operating hours are 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday (excl. Public Holidays).
