We have had all three of our kids at Frith Street ELC, all from 10 months old. Whilst there have been changes in management over the 5 years, it has recently become the best it’s ever been. The level of care, enrichment activities, communication and genuine interest in families and kids is incredible. The staff are engaged and connected to all of the young people. Our kids are genuinely happy and excited to be there, and as parents, that’s what we value the most.

Our family have been attending Frith St ELC (up until 1 year ago, it was owned by another company) for 6.5 years. There have been a lot of changes over the past year, but we are happy with all the changes and the reasoning behind them.<br>We love the facilities- it’s new and clean, and it’s nice to see that the centre is continuing to purchase new equipment and toys for the children.<br>The meals are provided which is fantastic. Our boys love the food and it’s good to know they are being fed nutritious meals.<br>All the current staff are caring, approachable and kind. Our boys have great relationships with their regular educators. The communication has really improved over the past 6 months. It’s great to see daily updates about what the kids have been doing at daycare, as well as having information provided about their eating, toileting and naps.<br>We’ve really loved recent incursions in the preschool space. Our son has been very excited to share these experiences with his friends. Also in the preschool space, they are working on school readiness activities with the kids which we greatly appreciate in the lead up to transition to school.<br>We cannot fault the care our boys receive at Frith St and recommend the centre to other families!

My child has been attending Frith Street ELC for two years and I highly recommend this community to anyone in the local area looking for high quality, evidenced based childcare.<br><br>The educators are highly experienced and communicative, with a focus on the natural environment and skill development.<br><br>Routines and updates are provided in real time to parents, which provides reassurance regarding routines, activities and meals.<br>The food provided is nutritious, varied and allergen free, made on site.<br><br>There are often community focused activities for the whole family such as Book Fairs and take home recipes to enjoy. Recently, we were offered take home bake-your-own cookie packs which was a highlight activity at home, and has sparked an interest in baking for my child, which we are now doing regularly.<br><br>We are extremely grateful to be a part of such a kind, safe and nurturing community!

We have been part of the Frith Street ELC community for the past four years, with our twins starting when they were 16 months and growing alongside the educators, staff and wonderful community there. It has been so special watching them grow, learn and become more confident little people during their time at the centre.<br><br>There have been quite a few changes this year, but honestly, they have worked out for the best. Communication has improved so much, and we feel much more connected to what the kids are doing, how they are going and what they are learning each day. There has also been such a wonderful focus on making learning fun and giving the children opportunities to develop important life skills from yoga and gardening to fruit making, baking, reptile visits and, most recently, watching chicks hatch right there at the centre! 🐣<br><br>The educators have also been going above and beyond with all the thoughtful extras from cookie mixes and colouring-in activities to take home, to little surprises that make the kids so excited to share what they've been doing. And the breakfast on the go for us busy mums has been such a thoughtful touch! ❤️<br><br>After four years, we couldn't be happier seeing how much our twins have grown with the Frith Street community and the friendships they've made with the teachers and other kids. They love the food provided, play equipment that's there and it's clear how much effort is being put into creating a fun, nurturing and engaging environment where the kids can thrive, learn and build confidence. We are so grateful to all the staff for everything they do!

Our children started at the centre 4 years ago when it was Gowrie. There were recently some big changes while the centre transitioned to Frith St ELC which resulted in some major staff turnover and uncertainty. I can safely say though that it is now much calmer and the new staff have created a warm, inviting and safe space for our three kids to thrive. There is plenty of communication between staff and parents, and staff are responsive to feedback to ensure the kids’ needs are met.

We could not recommend Frith Street enough! We have been attending for about a year now and the staff and care our daughter receives is amazing. I know she is safe and receive plenty of updates and photos during the day that is comforting as a first time parent to see.<br>I have never had any issues with communicating with the team and feel we are heard when we do.

My son went to Gowrie for 3 years and made a ton of great friends and was cared for by a ton of wonderful educators during that time. most importantly he loved going.<br><br>And then Frith Street took over and the quality of the Centre went downhill real quick. Mass turnover. Poor communication. The vibes were just off.<br><br>Sad to see what was once such a great centre turn into something so disappointing.<br><br>If you are looking for child care I would keep Frith as a back up option to your back up option and only enrol if you are absolutely desperate.

We cannot speak highly enough of this centre and its staff! They provide a safe, genuinely caring and stimulating learning environment for children; we could clearly see how our daughter's development with social skills, motor skills, and confidence accelerated as soon as she started here 2 years ago. The Centre Director Tanya and Deputy Sally are a highly professional, friendly and dynamic duo; ensuring high standards are maintained while taking the time to support staff and parents alike, and also being hands on in the care of the children. They also ensured a smooth transition to new upper management without compromising on this particular centre's community and family feel. All the staff genuinely care for every child and look out for them even as they transition between rooms as they grow. This was honestly the best daycare our daughter has ever attended after having moved from Canberra. We only left (very sadly) because we had to move away again for work. It's hard finding a new daycare now as none seem to meet the high standards, and safe community environment set by Frith St. Our daughter still asks about staff and other kids from there. They have left a lasting positive impact on our lives.
