My kids have been going here for over a year. They absolutely love going to this child care and the staff are nothing but professional and friendly. My kids are also picky eaters but they always eat the food here. I highly recommend this childcare and can be reassured your children will be looked after properly.

Definitely recommend. The staff are wonderful, friendly people and are highly skilled. Their care for the kids is really evident. The centre is a class above others in the area. Our kids have made great friends here and love going each morning. Would recommend this childcare to anyone.

Highly recommend! We couldn’t be happier with the care and service provided by Stepping Stone Hove. From the moment we enrolled, we’ve felt a true sense of community. The educators are incredibly caring, professional and go above and beyond to make every child feel welcome and valued. Our kids absolutely love going there and always come home with big smiles and excited to share the new things they’ve learnt. We’re so grateful!

A fantastic childcare with highly skilled, caring educators, excellent facilities, and great managers. I have complete peace of mind with both my kids at this centre. They absolutely love it and talk about their favourite teachers, friends, and activities all the time. Compared to other childcare centres I have tried, it is very low staff turnover and the educators seem genuinely happy and love their jobs (and the kids love them!). This centre is something special, a wonderful community, and we're very grateful to be a part of it!

I was very nervous about beginning childcare when my son turned one. I cannot express how supportive Stepping Stone Hove is. Sharon, the director, in particular, has such a welcoming, kind and really supportive approach to communicating with us. The use of story park is great, when our son attends we get to see pictures of him engaging in play and read a little write up. It really puts working parents at ease seeing the care that the staff put into their jobs. Lottie, Jody, Imogen, Ashleigh and Paige in the Nursery room really put in the extra effort to make our son feel safe and happy at childcare.

Cannot say enough positive things about Stepping Stone at Hove! The Directors are approachable and genuinely care about helping busy families. The staff are just fantastic, and there is a real community feel to this place. Story park is updated every day, and my kids always come home happy and engaged. When my son graduated, they held a graduation ceremony with little black academic gowns and hats, and held a graduation party for teachers, kids and parents. It was just awesome!

Sadly I did not have a good experience with this childcare centre. I had my daughter attend for a few weeks and I noticed the staff in her room was constantly raising their voices at the children, forcing them to do things that they didn’t want to or need to do. There was always kids that were extremely upset in her room and they were usually not being helped/nurtured. My daughter took a few steps back in her development during the several weeks she was there. It was hard to watch, but I was putting it down to her taking longer than normal to adapt. Fortunately she’s now somewhere new I can see her finally thriving again in a loving and nurturing environment. The directors at SS Hove were lovely and the staff from the other rooms also seemed lovely, but sadly we had this issue in her room in particular.

I am so thankful for finding this daycare. The staff and management are second to none, my daughter is already coming in leaps and bounds and it’s noticeable at home too.

Stepping Stone Hove has been the most positive experience for my entire family after arriving from Canada in Nov 2022 and I've been meaning to write an official review for ages! Our daughter (now 4) and son (2) both attend - and we just absolutely LOVE Sharon and her whole team. The educators are so caring, kind, and fun and create such great activities for the kids. Nothing is too much trouble, they are really flexible with any small changes (swapping a day here and there etc) and we are greeted every day with such happy vibes. The facilities are lovely, so clean and new, with a really big outdoor space for the children to play, and lovely big rooms inside. We are so happy we chose this centre and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking.
