My son has been attending Ceinwen’s house for the past year, aged 1-2. I’m confident that he thinks she’s his aunty. Her house is like a cross between a a play centre and a toy library. He literally runs from the car to her lounge room, without saying bye to me 😂 and has since he could walk. She now doesn’t do the Goodwood Primary drop offs but does Blackforest Primary instead so I’m considering changing primary schools just so that my son can keep going to her for after school visits even once he’s ‘graduated’ from childcare. Can’t imagine his life without her or her lovely family. Shout out to her daughter Izzie for providing lovely facepainting and balloon animals!

Ceinwen has 5 children of her own- she is super experienced and loves the kids like her own. I feel like I’m taking my kids to an aunts house...she takes the kids on brilliant outings- on the train, to the zoo, museum, playgroups, playgrounds. She has a fun playroom room with loads of wooden imaginative play toys, which she rotated and sets the room up with different scene every day. On wet days she’ll make play dough. I have been so grateful to have such a nurturing carer for my kids. Thank you for all you do Ceinwen!

Welcome to my Reggio Emila inspired Family day care service , we look forward to meeting you.
My service is called All Aboard Family day care because we live next to a busy train line and it's always great excitement for the children to watch and hear the trains go past.
I have been a Diploma qualified Educator for over 24 years now and have worked in many different services. family day care with it's small mixed age groups and close family ties is where my heart is and hence I have been providing my services here in Millswood for over 10yrs.
I am also a mother to 5, my eldest is 22 and has moved out with her partner but I still have a 21,18,14 and a 6yr old at home.
I believe in gentle parenting though it is something I came to later in my own parenting journey as is the Reggio Emila philosophy where the childs voice is the centre of everything I do.
We are a nature based service and love nothing better than getting outside in most weather and especially love jumping in puddles !! We are very lucky to have a beautiful oval just across the road and many beautiful playgrounds nearby.
We also have chickens , Mango the cat , Ludo the puppy and our very popular fish at home. Having pets in the home is a huge comfort for many of the children and teaches them kindness and responsibilities.
I do not drive but use public transport or walk with the children on outings. I have a triple & quad seat pram to safely transport the children.
My youngest child attends Black Forest primary school and during term time we drop him off and pick him up.
My hours are currently fairly flexible, the earliest I currently start is 7am and I finish around 5pm. This year I work Monday through to Friday, in 2023 I won't be working Fridays.
When I have vacancies I accept children from birth to 4yrs. I particularly feel the very youngest children thrive in the gentle and loving family day care setting with one dedicated carer.
