Sending my child to daycare for the very first time at just two years old was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I had to return to work much sooner than expected and honestly felt like I was constantly a mess; forgetting water bottles, jackets, hats or something different every day. But through it all, I never once felt judged by the team at Fit Kidz North. Instead, I always felt supported, reassured and genuinely cared for. From the moment you walked into the centre, it felt like home. There was always the smell of fresh baked goods and healthy hot lunches being prepared for the children. The warmth and care throughout the centre was something really special. Every event and milestone was celebrated beautifully; from Mother’s Day and Father’s Day to Easter, Christmas and everything in between. The effort the educators put into making families feel included and connected was incredible. Every educator was kind, nurturing and formed such beautiful connections with my child. It gave me so much comfort knowing my child was not only cared for, but truly loved and valued every day. The outdoor spaces were absolutely amazing and unlike anything else we had seen. The children had access to multiple playgrounds, a huge jumping pillow, bike tracks, sand pits, water play areas for hot days and even a vegetable garden where fresh produce was harvested and used in meals or shared with families. There were chickens laying eggs, farm animals and even a horse, experiences that brought so much joy and learning to the kids. The maintenance and gardening team also deserve recognition because the grounds were always beautifully maintained, safe and spotless. We truly could not have asked for more. Fit Kidz North gave our family the most wonderful few years filled with love, support and unforgettable memories. We Miss Mel and the entire Fit Kidz team dearly and will always be grateful for the care they gave our child and our family.

We took my daughter to her interview for Kindergarten today and were blown away at how clever she was. From picking bigger and smaller groups of numbers to colours, writing her name, to knowing her numbers out of order, being asked to put counters in a pattern! I asked the Principal if this was normal for her age (she is young starting school and will be 4) and she said she is exceeding most children and Fit Kidz is known to have a great starting school program. We considered moving Emma to a prep school given her age but our gut told us to stay with Fit Kidz because we love the team and educators and the kids do too and we are so glad we didn’t move. Honestly, to anyone thinking they need prep …. You don’t… We cannot be more thankful to the team at FKDN for an incredible start to her education and are so proud to be apart of the family! We have had such a wonderful experience at Fit Kidz Dural North. Every member of staff truly has the children’s best interests at heart. They take the time to get to know each child as an individual and make a genuine effort to incorporate their interests into learning and play, which we really appreciate. They also set goals alongside parents to work on throughout the day, which makes us feel really involved in our child’s learning and development. The centre itself is absolutely amazing, with so many resources and thoughtfully designed areas- both indoors and outdoors. The centre has a beautiful garden and animals that the children help care for, which is such a special experience for them. Our child is a fussy eater and Diana, the chef at the centre, went above and beyond to ask about the foods he enjoys so she could prepare meals he would be happy to eat. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to us. The educators also provide detailed updates through the app and always take the time to speak with us in person at pick-up, which makes us feel very connected to our child’s day. It’s incredibly reassuring knowing our child is in such a caring, nurturing and supportive environment. We are very grateful to the whole team at Fit Kidz Dural North for the kindness and dedication they show every day. ⭐

Fit Kidz Dural North is a truly wonderful centre and feels so welcoming! My son is naturally shy, and the loving support he received helped build his confidence in ways we will always be grateful for. He absolutely loves going each day, especially the animals, which create such a unique and joyful learning environment and teach the children kindness and responsibility. The educators are incredibly caring and attentive, and it’s clear how much they genuinely love and support the children. We also really value the strong connection with parents and communication is thoughtful and consistent, which makes us feel so supported and included. What really stands out is the beautiful community feel. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of heart. We are so grateful our son is part of the Fit Kidz Dural North family and couldn’t recommend it more highly!

After experiencing 2 other childcare centres I can say that no other centre compares with the amount of effort and care that Fit kidz Dural North offers! The entire team goes above and beyond.

Our son recently started at Fit Kidz DN, he has absolutely loved it. The staff have been so amazing in welcoming him and making him feel comfortable. After a bad experience at another centre prior, this experience has been amazing. The amount of outdoor space with the animals at Fit Kidz DN, this is the perfect environment for our son. Couldn't be happier with the centre and the staff who are amazing :)

This childcare is completely unprofessional, and it’s clear that the children are not their priority. I would NOT recommend this center to anyone. Parents, save yourself the frustration and countless issues when dealing with them. Go somewhere else to find a professional daycare that truly cares.

I’m a very busy mum of two toddlers and a full time business owner. I called the centre to check for positions for my two children in the new year on two particular days. After a lengthy conversation, the lovely lady confirmed that those days are currently available and that obviously I’d have to come and tour the centre. Shortly after I came in for the tour. I took 3 hours of my working day to come tour the centre, only to be told by Centre Director Mel at the end of my tour that only one of the two days can be accommodated. When I asked the centre director why I was dragged in for a tour after already pre-calling the centre to check on availability, she took no personal responsibility for any of this and pointed the finger at someone else. Completely unprofessional. I wondered then if this was the type of communication that I’d be having with the centre should my children had actually started there? Update following response: I emailed the business. Response has been shared by the responder below. An email response doesn’t change the fact that the centre confirmed that they had spots available on Mondays and Tuesdays and asked me to come in for a tour only to be told otherwise. I’m not referring to actual offers here. As parents, we cannot be reasonably expected to tour each and every centre in the hope of an offer only to find that there weren't vacancies to start with. That would be a complete waste of people’s time. I’m all for following process but this is ridiculous. Urging other centres not to consider my family for spots is immature. I reviewed my experience with a business. I believe the response constitutes a personal attack on my character.
