Elonera Preschool truly is ‘a happy place for children’ Prior to Elonera our family had a couple of very rough years of childcare. Our eldest has recently started primary school, after two years at Elonera, the transition could not have gone more smoothly; a direct result of the care, environment, and learning provided by the awe-inspiring team at Elonera. It was not possible for our youngest to be more excited to get her turn this year. The four year old bush kinder program is stunning - in the early weeks our eldest was concerned about the lack of toys/play equipment - in the final week there were tears about whether he would get enough time playing with sticks once bush kinder wrapped up. Both my girls had a wonderful experience at Elonera Kindergarten. The program does an amazing job preparing children for school, building confidence, independence, and a love of learning. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and create a warm, supportive environment. Elonera also has a fantastic community behind it. The parent-run committee volunteers so much of their time to make the kindergarten the best it can be, and it really shows. The Bush Kinder and Playball programs are outstanding and gave my kids fantastic opportunities to build skills, confidence, and curiosity. We are so lucky to have this community kinder in our area.

We feel so lucky to be a part of Elonera. The sense of community is fantastic and the teachers are so nurturing while still being both practical and supportive. My daughter genuinely looks forward to every session, which says so much about how happy and comfortable she feels there. How fortunate we are to have somewhere so wonderful in Parkdale.

I have had the sheer delight of being a parent at Elonera for the past 5.5 years - my 3rd child is currently in 4yo kinder - our 6th year running as a family. It’s hard to put into words how much this place means to my family and I. The community, the education, the stunning facilities, the opportunites for connection, and of course the nurturing / intelligent / experienced / and deeply-caring staff - led by our exceptional director Hema. I have also had the opportunity to be part of the parent-led committee - a wonderful bunch of humans who support Hema in making Elonera the most special place for children. If you are local and looking for a kinder, do your self a favour and check out Elonera! It is by far such an amazing, supportive, unique and friendly kinder. Hema and all the staff as well as the committee go above and beyond to support our little ones. It is such a beautiful community. I am a teacher and senior kids at my school also still rave about their time and memories from attending this kinder. My only regret is not sending my older daughter there as we weren’t in the area at the time. My son absolutely thrived here and never wanted to leave! 100% recommend this beautiful kinder!

Do yourself a favour and visit this little community kinder... you wont find a better one. Its warm, inviting and the staff and committee are extremely committed to providing the very best curriculum and environment for your kids. There are many organised special days and visitors that visit the kinder. Some of my daughters favourites were Victor for playball and the bee incursion. Its a very social kinder with the committee running multiple events across the years. Trivia nights, welcome picnics, movie nights. We have made life long friends from our experience at Elonera. The staff go above and beyond and this is why there is a waitlist every year for enrolment. They are a leading kinder in the community. Elonera is such a special kinder. They truly put the individual child at the heart of everything they do. My son has grown so much at this kinder, I cannot be more grateful for the wonderful experiences he had across 3 and 4 year old kinder. It’s been amazing to see him make a lifetime of memories and learn so many invaluable skills. A beautiful community to be part of.

Choosing Elonera for our children has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. From the moment you walk through the gates, you can feel how special this place is. The environment is warm, welcoming and full of joy, and the children are truly nurtured as individuals. What makes Elonera so unique is not only the care and education the kids receive, but the sense of community it creates for families as well. We’ve met such wonderful people here and formed friendships that will last well beyond our kinder years. Hema and her team of educators are simply outstanding. They consistently go above and beyond for the children, creating a nurturing, engaging and supportive environment where every child feels valued. Their dedication, kindness and genuine love for the kids shines through in everything they do. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Elonera community and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Elonera is one of those incredible places that looks nice before you arrive-you might walk past and see kids playing, say hi to their resident chickens, but you don’t really grasp the magic of the place until your child starts. The teachers are wonderful, caring humans, and the whole kinder is run by an incredibly dedicated committee of parent volunteers Can’t recommend this kinder any higher for your kids and get them ready for school.
