Barnardos ELC Ultimo has been amazing for our family! Miss Anna is fantastic—she always replies to emails so quickly and makes communication easy and reassuring. Every educator we’ve met has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring toward my son. He’s always happy at drop-off, which says it all. We truly feel supported here, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barnardos to other families. It really feels like a small family here at Barnardos, which makes all the difference. The difference between here and his previous centre is that teachers are actually present in the moment with the kids, playing and guiding them well. They have an on-site chef, and the kids get to enjoy many incursions and excursions, as well as activities like gymnastics and Zumba. They also join events happening at Ultimo Public School.

My child has been attending the daycare since he was 18 months. AMAZING STAFFS, the centre directors Ms Ivana & Ms Anna are very competent at their role, Ms Nam, Ms Claire and all the educators are fun, loving and caring; my child always have fun with the programs they run in the toddler room. Just 6 months, I am amazed at how much he has learnt and grown at this Centre.

Amazing centre with fantastic staff. Both my children go and have been thriving ever since. The centre puts great deal of time into community involvement with many incursions and excursions all while keeping the children engaged and happy. By far the best daycare centre around.

I highly recommend Barnardos Ultimo. The centre director, Ivana, recruits the best team. All educators in the centre are genuine and loving people who sincerely cares the well being of the children there. Most importantly it is a dedicated and steady team which makes communication easy. Ivana is always there, feedback is always heard and my message always gets pass down. My child has a strong bond with them and she enjoys her educator's company dearly. The curriculum and learning plan Ivana's team has drafted out for the children are phenomenal. Every week there is a different topic which is reinforced with songs, books, games , role-play and craft time. My child has learned a great lot since she started in the centre. There are detailed reports everyday to document the day-to-day activities attached with an essential checklist of my child's well being. There are Parent Teacher meetings twice a year to discuss my child's development. I can confidently say my child is well looked after physically, mentally and emotionally in the centre. A big shoutout to the team at the toughest time during lockdown. Not only they open their door as many days as they could, they were understanding and supportive. There were online classes for the children 3 days a week with sent home materials ready to be collected every Monday. There were programs to support family in needs. The communication was prompt and clear about government updates and their charges. Lastly, the centre has a high hygiene standard. Considering how much fun my child has in the centre, I am always impressed how well groomed she is when I pick her up. And the centre is always clean and well maintained. This ties back to how hard the team works. My child loves Barnardos Ultimo and it makes me happy to know she is in good hands when I say goodby to her in the morning. A big thumb up to Barnardos Ultimo.

Great Place. Everyone is so friendly. Ivana, Ann, Nam and others are always helpful. I would highly recommend this center and my son starts developing his fine motor skills and now more confident socialising with other kids as well. lots of learning activities are taking place every day. We moved from another daycare when the staff left to set this place up. The facilities are great, the staff are wonderful, the nutrition is great and it’s safe and convenient for our family.
