This is our third daycare and my daughter loves it here. She adjusted so quickly - largely due to the exceptional educators. They are warm, caring and clearly skilled. I'm very confident leaving her in their care.

Tennyson has been incredible for our shy, cautious daughter (commenced at 3yo). This was her first experience in a larger group setting, and it's been incredibly positive. From our first interaction with the Centre, it felt right. The educators are consistent and seem to truly enjoy working with each other.

The time, patience and love that they have shown in getting to know one child is remarkable. She has developed a strong (and different) relationship with every educator there.

There is a lot of focus on fun and pursuing kids' interests and a lot of messy, outdoor play! I often hear her giggling from the playground area when I go to pick her up.

I looked at a lot of Centres when deciding where to send her. Some were fancier, but none had the sense of love and care that we have experienced at Tennyson.

Tennyson Preschool has been a second home for our family. Both of our children have absolutely thrived in the nurturing environment they have created. The educators at Tennyson are so passionate about not only their educational program but each individual child's sense of connectedness, safety and security. They have all gone above and beyond to provide support that is tailored to each child and they execute this with such positivity and enthusiasm. I also want to note that not only have our children gained a sense of belonging and feel the support from Tennyson, but my husband and I, as parents. Also feel incredibly
Welcomed and supported. Tennyson really is for families as a whole and they have been such a valued chapter of our story. We are forever glad we found Tennyson ♥️

We've been with Handprints for the past 5 years across their different centers, and we've always experienced exceptional care and support from the Center Directors and the educators. We moved to Tennyson preschool by Handprints in Jan 2026, and it's great to see my son thriving. Kids have agency and the ability to confidently voice their opinions, their curiosity is nurtured, and there are lots of fun, messy and active play during the day! It takes a village to raise kids, and we're lucky to have had Handprints as part of our village!

We moved our youngest to Tennyson when he turned the age from Handprints Turramurra and we’ve been so happy with the centre especially the quality of educators and a big outdoor space! Such an amazing learning environment, highly recommend to anyone with kids >2 yrs old!

I couldn’t praise Tennyson more highly. My kids run in and don’t even look back for a hug goodbye after years of teary goodbyes at previous centres. What I put it down to is that every educator takes the time to develop a beautiful connection with the kids so no matter who is there they feel safe. Jasmine, the Director, fosters an environment where her educators seem to legitimately be supported and this flows through to the kids. The communication with parents is flawless. I could go on! If you are considering preschool this is the perfect balance between slightly longer hours/having school holidays covered, and preparing them for school life.

Wonderful safe and caring pre-school. A very happy place where our children love to be.

Tennyson is wonderful childcare and preschool in Turramurra. It’s a great space for learning and play with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff are excellent - very caring with thoughtful activities for the children to learn and explore. My 3 year old daughter is enjoying the experience; she looks forward to going to preschool and is much more content and confident to share about her day.

A wonderful centre with an even more wonderful director who has seen all 3 of our children through their preschool years. The staff are beyond caring and know each child to a deep level. As parents we get a clear understanding of what they do during the day and the centre fosters a caring environment whilst also teaching and growing them. Couldn't ask for better care for my little ones at OAC Tennyson

Our family has had an outstanding experience with OAC Tennyson Ave. The center has a very professional and passionate team, creates a nurturing environment, fostering both learning and social development. And they are very supportive to parents and willing to work with parents to provide genuine care for each child. Previously, my son goes to another center, he is unhappy and most of the time he refuses to go in the morning. We never had this kind of problem with OAC Tennyson since day 1. He loves to go each day and feel so happy and doesn’t want to leave in the afternoon. He has significantly improved his communication and social skills after 2 years at OAC Tennyson. Would recommend to anyone, such a loving, caring and exceptional preschool!
