My daughter is so happy here and ADORES the educators. She lights up when she see's them in the morning, which is so comforting. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. I've seen my daughter excel so much since coming here, even though it's only for 2 days a week. Although there are other daycare centres much closer to me (literally on the same street) I am more than happy driving 25 minutes one way because there's no other place like this. Highly recommend!

We just adore the green elephant. The staff are incredible. They are so knowledgeable and loving. Fantastic team and great location. They have great classes for the kids: yoga, music, French and such really lovely people and diverse group.

A well-rounded and balanced approach to child development is essential for their well-being, learning, and growth. To help children thrive in all aspects of life, we focus on nurturing their overall development during the crucial early years, laying a strong foundation for future success.
Guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), we recognise that each child is unique and capable. That’s why our approach fosters individuality through play-based exploration, investigation, and inquiry tailored to each child’s learning style.
Our Five Pillars curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support their specific developmental needs across five key areas of brain development:

In the toddler room, the children are encouraged to develop their own unique interests while the educators also teach them early literacy and numeracy skills. The daily routine includes a mix of small and large group times as well as free play and teacher initiated learning activities.
The children are supported to develop their independence and self-help skills such as toilet training and packing away. Peer friendships are encouraged and the children build resilience and self-awareness that will serve them well throughout their school years and beyond.

We could not be happier with The Green Elephant and it's team at Horsely Park. I began the search for a daycare quite a while ago and I came across TGE and it's the only tab I saved and the only daycare we visited when we were ready. I felt nervous starting the daycare journey the process was made so easy, as soon as we had a tour my husband and I knew this was the one. I'd like to say a big thank you to all the team for making our daughters start at daycare so welcoming. I know she is looked after and having the most fun day! I often say to people I love how when we walk into daycare in the morning there is a big smile and personal welcome. Her educators have been very supportive and welcoming which i really appreciate. The facilities are great and my goodness the grounds (and chickens!) amazing. What a wonderful space for children to enjoy. I'm looking forward to our journey at TGE Thank you : )

We couldn’t be happier with the care our daughter receives at Green Elephant - Horsley Park. From the very beginning, we’ve felt confident that she’s in safe and caring hands. The educators are warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to the children’s well-being. My husband works in early education and it was the first time he was impressed with a centre tour, so I knew that was a great sign. We really appreciate how they keep us informed about her day, her progress, and any important updates during pick-up. They’re also very adaptable to her individual needs, which makes us feel even more reassured. It’s been a wonderful experience so far, and we’re happy to recommend Green Elephant - Horsley Park to any family looking for a supportive and nurturing daycare environment.
