The educator is extremely passionate — so passionate, in fact, that she happily takes the time to critique your parenting, comment on your child’s shortcomings, and even share her thoughts on a range of controversial and rather discriminatory topics. If you have a perfectly compliant child who never needs stimulation beyond a small space, this may be the ideal setting. However, for those with developing toddlers who require room to move, variety, and an educator who supports rather than judges, you might want to explore alternative options.

Super impressed with my sons development since starting at Nature Play this time last year, he was a little bit behind socially, but is now thriving, speaking so much, his little personality has really come out and amazing to see, I honestly could not be happier with the care my son receives. Ari is an amazing educator with a world of experience, my son was just under 2 and half yrs old when started with Ari a year ago, he was a socially shy and quiet little boy, lacking in confidence around other kids and new people, he didnt like to join in with activities, he had a speech delay and struggled to play amongst other kids, within 6 months my sons speech has improved immensely and is now not considered to have any speech delay, he now plays with other kids without being anxious and interacts in group activities, he dances around when music is playing when previously he would just stand and watch other dance, he has so much confidence since being at Nature play, he has really come out of his shell which is the most exciting and heartwarming thing for a mother to see, he aslo loves counting and saying his colours. Ari has supported my son from day one, she has customised activities to help him be part of the group, Ari followed my sons lead and has given him the resources and support he needed to succeed and continues to do so, my son is so excited each day I drop him off, he comes home a very happy and content little boy. Ari has always been great at communicating changes at her day care or suggestions that may help my child over come certain struggles, I am always told when my son achieves something significant or if theres something that he needs to work on, which I really appreciate, she has always been easy to converse with and I have never felt pressured or dictated to about my parenting. Family Day Care with added drama. While happily charging for 4 children per day I was regularly updated with how difficult this was for her. The operator does not accept ownership of her decisions. I was repeatedly referred to feedback from other parents when I only wanted to hear what she wanted/needed. She criticised our parenting decisions on a number of occasions (sleep, potty training, clothes). Ensure you are very clear on what will be provided/included to avoid unmet expectations later on (potty training, opening hours, food containers, use of photos). One instance of our child returning home in his original clothes with a second set dirty in the bag. I could only think she was dressing our child to her tastes. Excellent facilities and child care however you need to be able to deal with her dramas and changing requirements.
