Hello, my name is Ashlee, I have started MOTHER BEAR DAYCARE from my home, to provide a warm and inviting setting that provides meals and rest time while learning and developing skills through fun activities and free play based on on EYLF (early years learning framework).

All Centrelink GOV subsidies can be claimed.

I am a registered and qualified educator with a certificate lll is early childhood education and care.

I also have a range of other certificates and training courses that I have completed in order to be a currant and well-equipped educator:

• Working with children’s check.
• Police check
• First aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training with ST johns in a day care setting.
• Licensed kitchen with Murray Shire council to provide food for children.
• Child protection training
• Safe sleeping training (RED NOSE)
• Food safety training

Benefits of Family Day Care versus Centre:

Family day care I think is homelier and more inviting, we also have the luxury of offering more flexible hours of care. We have more time for one on one time to spend connecting with your child and developing their skills and using their interests as learning tools with your child as the child to educator ratios are less.

A little about myself as a person:

• I am a mother of two. I love children and teaching.
• I have a passion for environmental sustainability, caring for animals and healthy eating.
• I love the outdoors and creating new fun ideas.
• I enjoy encouraging children to Learn and develop their skills while working as a team.
• Keeping learning and developing fun and intriguing is what I enjoy about the experience.
• Getting your children ready for the transition from home into school learning is important in the role of educator.

What I provide:

• All Meals Provided, Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and bottle of water.
• My home is a pet friendly one, teaching how to feed and interact with pets while caring for them.
• My hours are TUES-SUN 7AM-5PM.
• My hours are however flexible and if required we can work out other arrangements if need be. Just ask.
• Mother Bear Day-care has its own 12 seater Toyota commuter van fitted with baby/booster seats that we can organise pick-up and drop-offs, after and before school pick up and drop offs and excursions for the day.
• I will be organising various outings through they year, some are regular others are not, we visit the library, local playgroup, parks, beach days, chipmunks playarea and more.
