Terrible experience. I would not recommend leaving your child here. Some of the educators clearly did not like me, which was evident from the way they would walk away when I arrived. It made me question whether this same attitude extended to my (then) 2-year-old child. On one occasion, my child was allowed to go without food for the entire day. At around 4pm they finally gave her a banana because she was “hungry,” which was extremely concerning. My child also developed a UTI while attending this centre. I had asked staff to ensure she received help with wiping, as her little arms could not quite reach properly yet. Despite this request, she frequently came home in soiled underwear. Since moving to Goodstart, the difference has been incredible. My child is now happy and healthy. There are no tears at drop-off or pick-up, no hygiene issues, and she genuinely enjoys going each day. The staff at Goodstart treat her with care and respect, and it has been a much more positive environment for her.

Since my daughter started attending Mayfield Clifton Beach, we’ve seen so much growth and improvement. This year, she moved up to Kindy room and her teacher Miss Kerry is very nurturing, supportive and caring as my daughter sometimes need a little bit of encouragement and help. The centre is full of natural environments which encourages my daughter to explore her imagination and creativity.

The staff are friendly and caring, and they have a beautiful play space. The kindy teacher has gone above and beyond to help my son when he has had difficulty separating.

My child attends Mayfield in Clifton beach and loves attending to see her teachers and friends. All of the educators are friendly, welcoming each child by their name. They have engaging and clean rooms. Educators are also supportive with any needs that may arise. They also have great daily feedback about my child’s learning with photos of them in their app. Just a great place for little ones to grow and learn! 🤩

All the team at Mayfield are wonderful, kind and helpful. Brilliant management from Amanda, this daycare is run beautifully. I feel my children are safe and well cared for here. My daughter is thrilled with her Kindergarten teacher Mrs Kerry. She is a fabulous teacher and so attentive and lovely with the children. The centre is very clean and their facilities are amazing.

My son goes 4 days a week and absolutely loves being there! The team are wonderful and the days are filled with fun, educational activities.

Excellent staff. They are kind, warm and accommodating when a child needs a little extra TLC. They truly care about the children's happiness and wellbeing

The management team are super hands on, they are knowledgeable and very welcoming. The educators are amazing and love each and every child, they engage with the family and make the children feel safe and secure in the environment.

Mayfield Clifton Beach has been a place surrounded by a natural environment, ideal for sparking my son's curiosity since he was 6 months old. Their small-group rooms, professional and friendly staff, have allowed for a more personalized experience and the perfect place to feel at home away from home. I am so grateful for the constant effort to offer the most nutritious and delicious meals, respecting our family's nutritional beliefs. Thank you to everyone at Mayfield Clifton Beach for giving our family the peace of mind that our little one is in the best hands!

We relocated to FNQ in 2024 and I have been so pleased with finding mayfield in Clifton. All the girls are wonderful and caring. They take safety of the kids seriously, but still have lots of fun and the day is full adventures.
