Both our babies attend Cottage Academy in two different rooms and we are blissfully happy! Out of the four centres we have attended this by far exceeded our expectations. The staff are wonderful, our kids are excited to attend and don’t want to leave… and it warms our hearts knowing their in safe place while we work!

Disappointing Experience – Poor Management and Billing Issues We had high hopes for Cottage Academy, especially given its beautiful environment and the originally wonderful educators. However, our experience was ultimately disappointing. During our time there, we had three different regional managers, and the centre manager was unhelpful in addressing our concerns. The biggest issue we faced was the ongoing billing inconsistencies. Charges would change without clear explanations, and the management seemed either unwilling or unable to provide answers. The only communication we've received since leaving has been about supposed money owing—yet, when we sought clarification on charges while attending, we were met with confusion and no resolution. Unfortunately, the business has gone downhill, and we are not alone in our frustrations. Many families have experienced the same issues with unexplained charges and a centre manager who lacks the ability to make decisions or properly address concerns. While the facility itself is lovely, the lack of competent management and ongoing financial inconsistencies make it difficult to recommend Cottage Academy to other families.

Beautiful "home away from home" for our child. Marred by a horrible experience at a much larger daycare 'business', our once independent happy child had developed severe seperation anxiety. All of the staff at Cottage Academy went above & beyond to help settle our anxious and very hesitant child into their service. Our child is now thriving and loves attending. The activities and experiences the centre offers are second to none. Small numbers mean all of the staff know all of the children, so regardless of who is "on duty", we know our child is in good hands, and being cared for by someone they are familiar & comfortable with.

I cannot recommend Cottage Academy enough! The center is always clean, organised, and welcoming, thanks to the exceptional management by Miss Angie, who runs everything with a smile on her face. I’m truly amazed at how the educators maintain such positivity five days a week and give their full love and attention to each child. My child was initially hesitant, but Miss Becci, Miss Thalia, Miss Shauna, and Miss Sharon went above and beyond to nurture my child’s emotional wellbeing and helped him feel at ease. Since starting, I’ve seen incredible growth in my child, their confidence has soared, and they’ve become much more independent in their daily tasks. The center does a fantastic job of catering to each child’s unique needs, always with a smile. Cottage Academy was my first choice, and I’m so happy I enrolled my child here. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better environment for my child. What sets this center apart is the unique experiences they offer—children make and eat their own food, and they bring in third-party development activities, from music to tennis, that spark new interests in all the kids. I’ve also noticed the positive impact of the mindfulness sessions in the Kindy class. If you’re looking for a nurturing, positive, and enriching environment for your child, Cottage Academy is the bees knees—the big cheese!

Been with this daycare since they opened my child loves it and always comes home happy. Kindy room is amazing lots of extra programs to keep things exciting for the kids. Love the dance, sports and current pottery progam. I have always felt comfortable leaving my child here with her second family and it's how we have always been treated

My son has been attending here now since April 2024. He took some time to settle, which is normal since he’d never left my side before so it was a big change for us both. He is the happiest and most content little boy now and has the biggest sleeps and eats so many different types of food ! The educators are all so caring and so genuine and even though there was a lot of turnover when we just started, the new management is just lovely and I think everything has settled down just perfectly.

Sorry but I wouldn't recommend. For the 6 weeks my 1 year old went there she barely slept and they would say "she's great" and then she would be hysterical at home, had huge volumes of carers coming in and out of the room every day, we got gastro about 4 times. I should say that I reported the issues and got told it was all normal, it's not. We've not had any of these things happen anywhere else.

I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with Cottage Academy! My daughter has been attending this daycare for several months now, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children. The curriculum is engaging and stimulating, fostering both academic and social development. I feel confident and at ease leaving my daughter in their capable hands every day. Thank you, Cottage Academy, for providing such a fantastic learning environment for my little one!

We moved our son from one of the bigger centres to Cottage Academy and it was the best thing we ever did. My son was always so tearful and clingy at the old centre. He now happily runs off as soon as we arrive and it's hard to get him to leave at pick up time. The staff are all so warm and welcoming. My son adores his teacher (Sharon). Ally is so approachable and kind. The centre and staff make it feel like a homely vibe. I always drive off feeling like my son is in the best hands. Fellan.
