We are excited to announce that our beautiful new childcare centre, Children First Mitcham is now open! We have designed our centre to provide the Mitcham community with quality childcare and early education to support children on their learning journey. Our vision for Children First Mitcham is that children always come first. All our decision making is centred around ensuring the needs, development, and wellbeing of the child is always our first priority.
Located on Whitehorse Road and off the Maroondah Highway, our long day care centre provides a convenient stop for families commuting from the Mitcham and Ringwood areas to work. Antonio Park Primary School is only a 3-minute drive away and Children First Mitcham is a 3-minute drive from Ringwood Square Shopping Centre and 5-minute drive from Mitcham Shopping Centre. Our centre provides convenience for families with plenty of onsite carparking for drop-off and pick-up.
We have thought of everything your little one will need to thrive at our centres and included it in our daily fee. Our all-inclusive fee is also extremely convenient, as all you need to pack is a spare change of clothes!

WARNING to parents! We also had high hopes for this centre like Elisha's review below. Unfortunately we had similar issues and worse! The educators there are lovely and caring, but there is a toxic and detrimental culture in current management who do not care about your children and their safety. The staff are stressed and struggling for support! FACT 1. High staff turnover with THREE centre Managers in the first 18 months of the centre opening, validating the poor management at the centre. FACT 2. Do not provide incident reports within the required time period per their policy and procedures, taking weeks at times. FACT 3. The current centre manager and state manager have been reported to the Department of Education regarding the mishandling of various incidents at the centre and are currently being investigated! FACT 4. Have NO rating as at the date of this review by the government body Starting blocks, and has not yet received a final NQS rating. Do not be fooled by the new centre and shiny toys, this does not always mean it is a good or safe place! This is an imature centre that has a lot of work to do to meet any parents minimum standards of care for their children. Our children are now safe at a new centre.

My son started his journey with this centre since Feb-25. Radhika is an amazing room leader in pre kinder room. My boy is enjoying the several programs throughout the week.
The following terms and conditions apply to this offer:
• This offer is for new enrolments who enrol and commence care at Children First Mitcham between the dates of
06/10/25 and the offer end date.
• This offer is subject to change or withdrawal at any time without prior notice.
• Eligible families will receive 4 weeks of free childcare, which will be applied to your account one week from your
child’s start date.
• The 4 weeks free refers to how many permanent days the child is enrolled for at commencement of care (start
date). For example, if your child is initially enrolled for 2 days per week, you will receive 2 days per week free
childcare for 4 weeks. You cannot pick up extra days after starting care and ask for these to be included in
your 4 weeks of free childcare.
• If your give notice to cease care with us within the first 4 weeks (4 weeks from the start date), you will forfeit
your 4 weeks free care.
• If you give notice to cease care with us and then re-enrol within 12 weeks (from the date you gave notice),
you will not be eligible to receive this promotion, as you will be considered a re-enrolment rather than a new
enrolment.
• Staff members receiving the staff discount are not eligible to receive this promotion.
