We opted for Ascolta when we moved home. We had to pull our child out of here after roughly 3 months. Initially things started positive and the service as sold as being a “child led” environment but we quickly discovered this wasn’t the case. The lead educator in our child’s room was extremely negative, rude and even on occasion attempted to diagnose my child with
a neuro disorder despite her having no qualifications to do so. We found our child developing more illnesses and multiple injuries occurring than our previous daycare service. On one occasion our child returned home with an unexplained full black eye and swelling on his cheekbone. This was not reported to us at the time, the staff at the centre didn’t seem to care and couldn’t tell us how it occurred.

We had informed the service that we were potty training and this was ignored by the room leader, she repeatedly placed our child in nappies despite us asking her not to as he was potty trained at home. The centre didn’t support this transition. What we later realised after pulling him out was that he clearly didn’t feel comfortable there and he is now at another centre that has helped fully with his toilet transition and having no issues.

These are only a few of the problems we had here but overall the young educators were always friendly and helpful but sadly the management at this centre really let the service down. I personally wouldn’t recommend the provider.

Amazing childcare our daughter feels so confident going there. Other like other daycares where she has cried the whole time. So happy we found ascolta.
