Don't send your child here. Our son has been attending this centre in Richmond for several months. Has been bitten by other children on multiple occasions, apps are not updated and from my observations at pick up and drop offs ratios are not being adhered too. The place feels like organised chaos. My son was left outside on a 30+ degree afternoon without a hat and was extremely thirsty drinking approx 200ml of water when I picked him up. Never the same educators staff turnover seems high. Response from director and senior staff seems disingenuous when concerns have been raised. We have now withdrawn him from little Zak's and will be enrolling him elsewhere.

Absolutely love the ladies that work at little zacs and couldn't be happier with the care my one year old and 3 year old autistic son get when their my son is completely non verbal so we always worry how he can communicate with others to let them know what he wants or needs or is feeling but they have put the effort in to know his signs and really accommodate for him both my kids love going and Georgia and rhi are always a lovely sight to walk into highly recommend

From the moment we walked in the door, i felt so welcome and I knew that my daughter is in good hands. Her room educators are kind and gentle and are always up front an honest of there has been an accident or incident. Highly recommended this centre

I would urge families to look beyond the recent 5-star reviews. There are serious concerns that some of the most recent positive reviews may not be from genuine families, and could be connected to individuals working within the centre. This raises significant questions around transparency and the reliability of the overall rating. Given recent negative feedback and broader media scrutiny surrounding the Little Zak’s group, this is particularly concerning. Families deserve honest, unbiased information when choosing care for their children. I strongly recommend visiting in person and seeing the concerns raised by previous, legitimate families for yourself.

I had a tour at Little Zaks in Richmond and based off this experience I would not ever enrol my child or recommend to another parent. In the two babies rooms, there were multiple infants crying while sitting on the floor looking for comfort and no one was tending to them (the educator present was on the iPad), it was heartbreaking to see. Worst of all in the older 2/3 room, they were taking the children outside and forgot a child in the room. The person who was conducting the tour quickly rushed the child outside. The older kids rooms were more calm and they seemed happier but the younger babies were definitely not being comforted or looked after while I was present.

Little Zak’s at Richmond has been such a blessing for my nephew. My nephew has been attending day care since he was a baby and throughout his journey he has not received support like he does at Little Zak’s Richmond. My nephew loves school for the first time and my sister and her husband have noticed how happy he is from his experience at school. My nephew has some additional needs all of which are met and supported fully through the caring and supportive staff at Little Zak’s. Management has been supportive of my sister and our family in allowing us all to be involved in the growth of my nephew which has seen a holistic approach as they work with us, his OT and of course in school. A big thank you to the staff and management at little Zak’s Richmond you have ensured our little one is cared for and ready to move off to big school next year as a confident and happy little dude

My son has attended since opening last year and we are so happy. Considering he left a centre that he had been at for 3 years the transition has been seamless. My son attends 5 days a week and has additional needs he is not just a number he can be his own individual person loved for all of his uniqueness. He has also learnt so much with the school readiness program I’m not worried about him going to school next year with all of the resources he has from his educators. Thank you LZA Richmond not just a school but a family.

We love this daycare. Our daughter started in Jan 2026 in the little pioneers room. We were very nervous considering it is our first child and unaware of the world of daycare but Georgia and Rhiannon (and the rest of the team) answered all our queries and questions. They invited us to do a room tour and also an orientation day with our daughter to make us and her feel more comfortable. Ash (room leader) and Mela are beautiful and our daughter seems to love them as well! All centres have their issues and this one is fairly new so we knew there would be a few teething errors but the team have handled it really well and we feel as though they have been really transparent with us. My only notes are that I would love more shade in the play areas and a little more privacy from the road! Maybe a couple more trees.
