Green Leaves Thornlie has made its significant place in a very short time. I made a good decision of enroling my son in Green Leaves Thornlie when there are other Daycare centers around. Jenelle has given her tremendous effort by making a center comfortable for all kids and parents coming from different cultural background. I really want to thank Jenelle, Mina and Nicole for giving my son care and early learning which I clearly observe since attend Green Leaves.

Located at 35 Yale Road, our brand-new centre has been custom-designed to meet the evolving learning needs of children six weeks to six years of age.
You can find our car park conveniently located off the Spencer Rd slip road. If you’re coming from Yale Road, turn right onto Sage Road and follow it to the end of Debenham Street.
As you enter our beautiful centre, you’ll find our state-of-the-art Chef’s kitchen and culinary lesson area, as well as our family lounge where families can connect or meet with Educators over fresh barista coffee and a baked treat.
At Green Leaves Early Learning Thornlie our all-inclusive fees provide convenience and peace of mind. Nappies, linen, hats, nutritious meals, and snacks, as well as activities such as yoga and music classes, even visiting shows and excursions are included.
Our learning hubs are bright and inviting, filled with rich, warm timber resources and innovative educational materials. Each hub leads out to a wonderful outdoor space, where children can enjoy countless hours of fun on the bike track, in the cubbyhouse, or caring for our edible gardens.
Our Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers will deliver our Pre-Kindy and Kindy program (4-6 years old) which is designed to support our children in developing their skills and abilities essential to achieving success in future learning environments.

6 weeks - 12 months
Their passionate and experienced Educators work closely with families to ensure each baby’s routine is personalised to meet their individual needs. The children take part in activities within a stimulating learning environment. They enjoy group time during their music and movement program, or visits from special guests.
Throughout the day, the babies enjoy taking part in songs and storytelling, sensory activities, and messy play in the garden. Under the guidance of their Educators, the babies enjoy their meals and snacks with their friends. During Nursery nap time, they are taken into the sleeping area where gentle music and a twinkling night sky encourages them to rest
2 years - 3 years
The Educators recognise that routines for toddlers are an important opportunity for learning. Performing daily, predictable tasks while having fun is a chance for toddlers to build their self-confidence, communication, and social skills and the ability to develop their self-control. The toddlers enjoy a daily rhythmic routine which assists them to transition between activities throughout the day.
They take part in activities such as music, yoga, cooking, painting, drawing, singing and dancing, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based activities, and the centre’s sustainability program. They also enjoy eating their meals and snacks with their friends and Educators.
4 years - 6 years
The Educators ensure the children’s environment is fun and inviting, encouraging quality play-based experiences to help them develop memory skills, language, and self-regulation, supporting the transition to school and academic learning later on in life. The children enjoy yoga, visits from special guests, and regular excursions to local parklands.
Mealtimes are an opportunity for the children to enjoy social interactions with their friends and educators, as well as learn about body awareness and nutrition. Practicing independence, the children help to set up, serve, and clear away their dining area. Throughout the day, the Kindergarten children engage in activities that include literacy and numeracy games, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities to encourage children to think creatively and critically.
Many of the children particularly enjoy the outdoor adventures around the bike track or expanding their green thumb knowledge, through cultivating the edible flower and vegetable gardens that provide countless hours of eco-education and fun.

Nutrition plays a vital role in childhood development. At Green Leaves Early Learning, the centre Chef prepares nutritious meals based on seasonally crafted menus to nourish active growing bodies.
As part of their learning journey, babies, toddlers, and children will take part in Chef-led culinary classes, where they will learn the importance of nourishing their bodies while preparing wholesome snacks.

My son has been going to the centre since they first opened end of 2024 and he has been so happy attending. He's enjoying all the activities, especially Boogie Woogie. Janelle is an amazing Centre Director, the educators (shout out to Miss Meena & Nicole) & Mel the chef are so lovely. Parent hub is great as well with snacks & coffee.
