I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Little Zak’s Academy Cambridge Park. The centre itself is beautiful, spacious and has plenty of room for children to play and enjoy outdoor activities. Unfortunately, my concerns relate to the way some children are treated and the professionalism of certain staff members.<br><br>As a mother whose children attended the centre, I personally witnessed behaviour that I found extremely concerning. I observed children, including my own, being spoken to in ways I felt were inappropriate, including yelling and being ignored. In my view, this type of treatment can have a negative impact on a child’s emotional wellbeing. No child should feel intimidated, dismissed or poorly treated while in the care of educators.<br><br>I was also concerned by what I experienced regarding the handling of incidents and complaints. I felt that some concerns were not handled professionally or transparently, and that explanations were sometimes given that did not reflect what I had personally witnessed. Several families, in my understanding, also chose to withdraw their children due to concerns about the centre.<br><br>My biggest concern is that children’s wellbeing should always come first. I believe parents deserve honesty, transparency and confidence that their concerns will be taken seriously and handled appropriately.<br><br>I am sharing this review based on my own experience as a parent. I encourage other parents to do their own research, ask questions and carefully consider their child’s individual experience before choosing a childcare centre.<br><br>I sincerely hope that any concerns raised by parents are taken seriously and that steps are taken to ensure every child is treated with care, respect and kindness. No parent should have to wait until something happens to their own child before taking concerns seriously.<br><br>I have concerns about the authenticity of some of the five-star reviews. Based on my own experience, I was asked to leave a positive review when another parent raised concerns with the Department of Education. Some of the five-star reviews also appear to have been left by staff members, their family members, friends, or parents connected to the centre. While I cannot speak for every reviewer, I believe it is important for parents to be aware of this context when reading the reviews. Center Director (Emma) really needs to be more professional.<br><br>Please don’t reply by saying that you don’t know who I am or by apologising for my bad experience. Emma, you knew about the issues I had with your staff and the way my child was treated, yet you did nothing to address them. From my perspective, your inaction was intentional.<br><br>Emma even stopped communicating with me after ahe abused me over the phone.her intentions were vile, and the way she treated me was completely unacceptable. She is not a nice person.<br><br>It feels like the focus is not on the wellbeing of the children, but simply on getting paid. It is extremely concerning to see innocent children being mistreated while their parents are left stressed, upset, and unsupported.<br><br>I have evidence to support everything stated in my review, photographs, emails and correspondence with the centre, as well as communication with the Department of Education.

Great place for children! The staff are welcoming, professional, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Very happy with the care provided and highly recommend this centre to other families.
