My son attended this childcare centre a while ago and because it was his first I had no point of reference of what was normal and what was not. I had since moved him to a different childcare centre and the difference was night and day. I’m sorry, I’m unsure of how the centre is run now but I found it concerning that the parents are not allowed to take their child into their area, you have to ring a bell out the front and someone (usually a different person every time) will come and get your child and take them, the same with pick up, the centre feels very disconnected from family interaction or involvement. I’m unsure if they don’t want parents to see the mess etc. I know not all staff are bad and I’m sure they may have changed from when my son went there but I really didn’t feel at ease leaving him there. At the time there was a staff member who had a car whose number plate said shag wagon which is just inappropriate for a childcare centre.

There truly aren’t enough positive words to express the incredible care, love, and attention Early Steps has given my son. From just 8 months old until he started big school at nearly 5, he was nurtured by a team that felt more like family. The growth and development we witnessed during his time there were remarkable (socially, emotionally, and academically). My heart was always full knowing he was part of such a warm, supportive, and beautifully multicultural community. We will always be grateful for the role Early Steps played in shaping his early years.

Our little boy just started his first week at Early Steps Childcare Centre, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing team. His educators Jini, Kristen, and Michelle have been so welcoming and caring, and all the staff are absolutely lovely. It’s never easy starting childcare, but seeing how happy and settled Harvey has been already gives us so much peace of mind. Now, she looks forward to going to the center every day, and she’s learning so much—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. One of the most amazing changes we’ve seen is her language development. She now speaks English fluently and interacts comfortably with her peers and teachers. The team truly understands how to support children from diverse cultures and helps them feel at home while encouraging their development every step of the way.

Since my daughter started at Early Steps Childcare Centre, I’ve seen tremendous growth in her development. The educators are caring, professional, and always take the time to update me on her daily activities and eating routine during pickup. I can't say enough good things about Early Steps Childcare Centre. But the real standout for us has been Michelle. As the director, Michelle go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. From communication to problem-solving, Michelle is always approachable, understanding, and extremely helpful.

I would highly recommend this child care centre as it has really supportive and caring staff who always support children. my daughter has been attending this for more than 2 years and she loves to go there. Also, the director is nice and helpful, always there to help in any way she can.

We are having a wonderful experience with Early Steps. From our very first visit, we were made to feel welcome and reassured. The centre manager is absolutely lovely, she spent over an hour with us on our first day, patiently walking us through everything, answering our questions, and giving us a full picture of how the centre operates. It made such a difference in helping us feel confident and comfortable with our decision. The educators are also fantastic, warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our child is settling in more easily than we expected, and it’s been amazing to see him so happy and engaged.
