My daughter absolutely loves attending Learn & Laugh Five Dock. From the moment we enrolled, I’ve been impressed by how kind, caring and considerate the educators are. The staff take the time to truly understand each child, and they plan wonderful experiences that follow the children’s interests and spark their curiosity. Every morning, my daughter is excited to go in, see her friends, greet her educators, and enjoy the delicious meals prepared by the centre cook. It’s clear she feels safe, supported and genuinely happy there. What really stands out is how the centre consistently goes above and beyond for families. Whether it’s involving us in special events, supporting the community through the food pantry and clothes roundabout, or offering take‑home dinners for busy weeknights, the team always finds ways to make life easier and strengthen the sense of community. At Learn and Laugh Five Dock, we strive to be a warm, home-away-from-home for children in the Inner West Sydney community since 2021.
Our experienced team creates a nurturing environment to support your child’s educational and personal development.
We are a long day care service with capacity of 47 children per day. We contain of 2 beautiful rooms with abundance of outdoor play spaces, which have been developed to allow children to explore, learn and be nurtured in appropriate age group. We are open from 7:00 – 6:00 Monday to Friday.
Our fees includes all meals, nappies, wipes, hats, sunscreen, and linen. We provide five meals per day from breakfast to late snack and are prepared onsite by our experienced cook. We follow a 6-week rotational menu plan that is reviewed often to suit different seasons. We also cater for all dietary and allergy requirements.

At Learn and Laugh Children’s Centre, we recognise the challenges that working families encounter. In December 2025 we have transformed our backyard into a new play area. With a big new sandpit and water play. A cubby house and slide. While still secluded from the busy streets, it is a lovely leafy shaded area, surrounded by trees.
