We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this daycare centre. From day one, the staff have shown genuine care for both of my children, always making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Drop-offs are smooth, pick-ups are joyful—and that speaks volumes. The centre is thoughtfully designed with three separate outdoor areas, allowing children to play safely with peers of similar ages. Inside, multiple classrooms cater to different age groups and abilities, which has helped my kids thrive both socially and developmentally. Communication is fantastic. I always feel heard, and any concerns or requests are taken seriously and handled with care. The team is incredibly responsive and respectful. What really sets this centre apart is the variety of learning experiences offered—frequent excursions, creative activities, and daily photo updates that reassure me my children are engaged and enjoying themselves. Their flexible cleaning practices, especially during winter or illness outbreaks, show a real commitment to health and wellbeing. Every single staff member is welcoming, kind, and professional. I’ve never encountered anyone rude or dismissive, which makes the environment feel warm and inclusive. This daycare has become a second home for my children, and I’m so grateful for the love and attention they receive each day.

The team at Hawthorn Street early learning have welcomed our two children with open arms, Our oldest boy entered into their care with a healing broken leg and they were able to tailor their room education and play program to be inclusive and supportive for his recovery. We've loved our time at Hawthorn St ELC. The staff are always friendly, polite and highly approachable. Following a negative experience sending our first-born to a daycare centre, we had been anxious about sending our 6mth old to another centre but Hawthorn St ELC has exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Ash and the team in Nursery One have made our son feel so welcome and he is always happy at drop-off and pick-up. I'm endlessly surprised at how calm and relaxed all the babies are every time I enter the room, it is clear to see the attentiveness and gentle nature of the carers. The staff are thorough with their reporting at the end of the day and excited to tell me about which activities he enjoyed most. Being a new centre the facilities are very modern with a fantastic layout seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor play. I highly recommend Hawthorn St ELC.
