Play and Learn Upper Coomera truly felt like family to us. We recently moved an hour away, and saying goodbye to this centre was honestly one of the hardest parts of the move. Our daughter started at Play and Learn when she was around 8 months old and stayed until she was over 2. In that time, it became her favourite place — she absolutely loved going every day. The teachers are caring, genuine, and nurturing in a way that’s hard to find. They loved our Lily, and she loved them right back. The communication from both teachers and management was always excellent, and the centre offers so many engaging activities and sports programs — Lily was never bored a single day. We’re so grateful for the love, care, and guidance every staff member showed our little girl. Thank you to the whole Play and Learn Upper Coomera team — you’ve left such a special mark on our family. ❤️

This is a really great centre, no wonder was rated exceeding. The staff (and I mean every single person from admin to cleaners to educators) are extremely nice and always accommodating. They all embrace the same philosophy where high standards of education and customer satisfaction always come first. The centre is ridiculously clean, you can smell the cleanness as you walk in. The management goes above and beyond to deliver the best service and engaging children with creative and educational activities. Just before Christmas they had a petting zoo, water slides and Santa visiting the centre just to mention a few. It is a quite big centre with lots of children of all ages sharing the big backyard which gives them opportunities to share and play together. Very highly recommended.

The purpose-built centre features an impressive and spacious outdoor play space. With a bike track, pirate ship and water play areas plus a “Dino-land” there is so much for the children to explore in their daily play. The centre chef often uses the produce grown in the centre vegetable gardens that the children care for.
Inside, the rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art resources, including interactive white-boards, iPad’s, iPod’s and laptop computers. The rooms are all fully air-conditioned with covered verandahs for all-weather outdoor play.

Our philosophy, passion and commitment means there are some things you can be certain of when we welcome your family to Play & Learn:
- We employ the best staff we can possibly find, staff who have a genuine love for children and follow our philosophy. This extends to how we support our staff with ongoing professional development and programming resources (including touch screen laptop computers and iPods)
- We will have the best facilities we are able to offer with play areas and equipment which are not just designed to meet the minimum regulatory requirements, but to meet the benchmark of excellence we would expect for our own children.
- We will have state of the art resources including Interactive Whiteboard’s and iPads for group learning activities.
- Your children will be school ready when they take the step up to “Big School”. Our centre will run the Queensland Government Kindergarten Program which will be delivered by Bachelor of Education qualified Early Childhood Teacher (who will also have access to all of the great resources).
- We also want to make your lives a little easier. We do this by providing all nappies as well as having an on-site chef who will provide all meals based on a nutritional meal plan (using organic and locally grown produce where possible). And of course, we want you to be at ease when your child is in our care. We do this by providing a nurturing environment with experienced staff and a child-centric philosophy. We often have the comment from parents that they can tell it’s a family run centre, not a national conglomerate, when they walk through the door.

The program at Play and Learn Early Learning Centre Upper Coomera involves a range of fun incursions and extra-curricular activities. These are all included in the daily fees.
The children enjoy visits from the Reptile Rangers and magicians and also participate in munchkin league, yoga, Japanese language classes and dance.
The curriculum at Play and Learn Early Learning Centre Upper Coomera is focused on creating an environment where the children can have fun while they learn. The educators create an individualised curriculum and portfolio for each child, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
The “Stepping Stones” program, delivered by Bachelor-qualified teachers ensures the children are ready to transition to “big school” with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
