The Fulton Family have been apart of the Little Stars Centre for nearly 5 years. Our little girl as grown and thrived into a cheeky, confident and playful little girl who is ready to start school next year. Lousie and Emily have embraced our little Mias unique personality and she loves coming to Kinder everyday. The friends she has made as been a blessing. Our twins joined Little Stars Childcare when they were just 13 months old. At that time, they had only just started walking and had only recently begun eating solid foods. Like any parent, we were nervous about leaving them in someone else's care.<br><br>Looking back now, we are amazed by how much they have grown and developed. Today, they are confidently walking, running, talking, playing with others, expressing themselves, and eating independently. Watching them become happy, confident little individuals has been such a rewarding journey.<br><br>A huge part of this growth is thanks to the incredible educators at Little Stars. Their patience, care, encouragement, and genuine love for the children have made all the difference. The support they provide every single day gives us complete peace of mind.<br><br>One thing we truly appreciate is the daily updates through the app. The photos are beautiful, but what makes them even more special is the thoughtful narration that accompanies each one. Reading about what the children were doing, what they were learning, and how they were feeling makes us feel as though we were right there with them. It never feels like we're missing out on those precious moments, even while we're at work. Those updates mean so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and care the educators put into sharing them.<br><br>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every educator at Little Stars for treating our children with so much kindness, love, and dedication. We have had such a wonderful experience at Little Stars Melton over the past 3 years and are incredibly grateful for the care and support our family has received.<br><br>All of the educators, including the room staff and floating staff, are amazing. They are always friendly, accommodating, and genuinely care about the children. Both of my girls have always felt safe, comfortable, and happy with all the staff they interact with.<br><br>When my girls went through a difficult stage with drop-offs, the staff worked with me to find ways to make the transition easier. We’ve been at little stars for two years now and have had a wonderful experience. The kinder program is fantastic, and we’ve seen tremendous growth in our son during his time here. There is a great variety of meals, endless activities and toys, and plenty to keep the children engaged even on wet weather days. Communication is excellent, and the staff are always accommodating when we need to add extra days at short notice. Highly recommend!

The communication with families is excellent, and it’s wonderful receiving updates throughout the day. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and provide plenty of opportunities for exploration and play. It’s clear that the staff work hard to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for every child. Here is what you may face right after enrolling. Ratios are never 4:1. I made multiple surprise visits to my child’s room and personally observed children being left alone and unattended. Staff are very smiley and welcoming when parents are present, but the environment changes completely when you are not around. Children are left to play on tablets—yes, they do use tablets, despite claiming they do not. With up to eight children and only one overwhelmed staff member, the only option seems to be keeping children occupied with screens. God forbid your child is involved in an incident—unless you witness it yourself, no one will tell you. In many cases, staff are not even aware that an incident has occurred. Dealing with operations management is an entirely different experience compared to the warm and friendly approach shown during enrolment. It feels like stepping into a completely different world. Do your child a favour and stay away.
