Is an 'excellent' rated early childhood service really that different? Yes - because it genuinely feels like the Apple store effect in early childhood. At Winston Glades, everything has been design with intention. The indoor and outdoor spaces have been thoughtfully crafted... Safe risky play - monkey bars, lots of loose parts and materials to encourage creativity Environmental stewardship - composting, animals (guinea pigs!), natural woods / materials (very little plastic), direct access to the bush to allow real world immersion And educational program that is truly emergent and collaborative... Mind maps fleshed our WITH children in the rooms to develop learning experiences and that becoming an artifact / artwork that guides the week Meaningful updates to families - quality over quantity... A mix of floor books + digital, with photos focused on the learning (not photos that take children out of the moment to smile for the camera) A culture of respect and positivity... Simple things - educators greeting each other with a smile, greeting families, and children mimicking this is in their behaviour. Massive thanks to Wendy and Lisa for welcoming me in. We are so appreciative for our daughter’s teachers in kindy room 2, our family have recently had number of medical challenges incl our daughter with cranky ears. Her teachers are so accommodating whilst managing so many different little people and personalities. Miss T is always going out of her way to welcome our daughter each day, they encourage her eating and Miss C yesterday went out of her way to make her feel welcome as she looked bit tired (grommets happening 28th) just wanted to give shout out that there efforts don’t go unnoticed and we are forever grateful for the ongoing efforts of everyone at the centre esp end of year when everyone getting tired

We recently moved our son to Winston Glades after several months of hysterical drop offs at the first centre we attended. I toured several other local centres and stopped in to WG on a whim while driving past. I am so glad I did. I could tell immediately that this was the place we wanted to be. The environment is calm and inviting, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and I could tell that our son was more comfortable in that space. During our stay and plays, the staff were all very open and friendly, engaging with us and answering any questions we had. Almost immediately we saw a difference in our son’s separation anxiety and drop off and his development pick up speed. We love that the kids spend as much time outside as possible and that play is such a central focus. All the staff seem to known him by name and are all so welcoming. We have been at the centre full time for a few months and our son is so much more confident, drop offs are almost insulting because he honestly can’t wait to get there and runs off to play without even a glance back at us, it is such a relief to see him so happy. Enrolling in WG was honestly the best decision we made for our little boy. Thank you for your genuine caring and support you show the children who have been entrusted to you.

We are so incredibly grateful for the high level of care and quality of education that our son has received during his time at Winston Glades. We could not recommend this amazing centre enough. We love Winston Glades, I couldn’t be happier and neither could my children. The love and support they provide is amazing and the attention to care in helping my family adjust to my son’s medical condition. Grateful my children are with people who I can trust.

Winston Glades is a magical place. I am a first time Mum and returned to work at 4.5months. I moved from North side Brisbane so my son could attend this Kindy. My son adores his Kindy days and teachers. He is nurtured and loved and celebrated for the unique little human he is. All of the team at Winston go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Myself and my son are greeted by a smile and by name by every team member. My son has been exposed to so many wonderful programs already, even in the nursery. He loves bush kindy and when ‘Grandma’ from their Intergenerational program visits. I am so glad to have the wonderful team at Winston be a part of the village that is raising my little one. You have made the return to work so much easier and less stressful, knowing Atlas is surrounded by such caring people and so many opportunities to explore, learn and grow. Thank you so much for all that you do team Winston, we love and appreciate you all.

Winston glades early education centre has been life changing for us, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our twins educational journey. I thank my lucky stars for Lisa and your amazing team. I knew from watching their socials many years ago that the centre would deliver, I could see the passion, values and extras they bring to the children day in day out. Extras such as, age care/kindy programs, bush kindy twice a week, swimming lessons, monthly excursions, a coach trip to Australia Zoo! I thank you all for not only your work with the children, but your understanding with parents and unique situations. The parent/teacher relationship is the most valuable to me. I come from a family of teachers and educators so I am extremely thorough. Your centre and staff to me are extremely rare and nothing can compare to the quality you deliver. The memories/pictures we have from Winston glades will last us a lifetime. To all of those that were involved in our twins care, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Winston Glades Early Education Centre. As a first time mum I was worried about leaving my child and who I was leaving them with. I was overwhelmed by the experience of picking out a centre to take care of my child. People who had children in daycare said we would just "get a feeling" if the centre was right for us. After seeing a few I can definitely say that's what happened. Carolyn, the assistant director, was the first person we met who took us through the centre and program. She was kind and insightful. Listen to our long list of questions and kindly answered them. If there are any issues a phone call is always made. There is also a handy app they use to keep me up to date. So even when our child isn't with us, we know how she's eating and we get a cute update of photos and a snapshot of their day! The educators have always made me at ease asking questions. At times I still feel out of my depth with a child attending a daycare but everyone at Winston Glades EEC welcomes questions with a smile. I could also go on about the food, the bush kindy adventures and other excursions, the worm farm, the chickens and play areas and toys but that would be an essay. I am so glad I found this centre. They have earnt their exceeding status! Highly recommend!
