Welcome to Teddy Bear Early Learning Centre - Vine Street!
Teddy Bears Vine Street is the first and currently only service in Hurstville to be awarded the highly valued “exceeding” rating in education from the department of education and communities under the new exacting standards that were introduced in 2018.
Director and Educational leader Miss Belinda works exclusively with the children, utilizing her vast experience spanning 31 years in the early childhood industry to enrich the program with hands on real life experiences .
The service works closely with family’s and the community and has been rated “exceeding” in this area also from recognising and incorporating the knowledge, culture and ideas from home and the informed community. Regular excursions are a part of our diverse program here as we recognise the role the community plays in our learning.
Teddy Bears Vine street has a warm and family like feel to the service and acknowledges the value that nature play adds to the emotional well-being of children.
At Teddy Bears the children are the customers and we work on enriching the children holistically through constantly reflecting and updating our knowledge and practices.
Teddy Bears takes children from 6 weeks to 6 years and welcomes tours without prior notice from family’s looking to enrol in the service.
