We absolutely loved our time at frobel parkville. The teachers were so warm and welcoming, nothing ever felt like problem. For an inner city childcare the space is so well set up for outdoor play and excursions on top of that.
Couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had both our children grow up at Froebel Parkville. Between my two children, we've experienced every stage of the centre, from nursery through toddler and all the way to kinder. At every stage, the children were consistently loved and beautifully cared for.

Each transition into a new class has brought new milestones, but the genuine warmth and dedication of the educators remained the same. It has been so reassuring as parents to know that, regardless of which class our children are in, they are surrounded by people who truly care for them.

We would especially like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Charmaine, Lisa, Anh, Eva, Sarah, Beduka, Rachel, Julie, Femmy, Katie, Yao, Bee, Narelle, Camilla, Gabby, Julia, Wilson, Catherine, Renate, Kyle and Mary. Each of you has played such a meaningful role in our children's early years, and we are grateful for the kindness and encouragement you have shown them. From comforting them during their younger days to celebrating their little achievements and helping them become more confident and independent.

What we really appreciate about Froebel Parkville is that the teachers truly get to know the children as individuals. They recognise their personalities, understand their needs and encourage them to grow at their own pace.

We are also thankful to Arthur, Steffi, Lisa for facilitating and supporting all the administrative arrangements for the kids! Thank you Carla for all the yummy food that you have cooked for the kids over the years too!

To all the wonderful educators and Froebel Parkville team, thank you for making our time in Melbourne so memorable. We will always be grateful for the patience and love you have given our children throughout their journey from nursery to kinder ❤️

If I could give more stars, I would. We left Australia last year and Froebel Parkville’ team is whom we miss the most. We are still looking for a similar daycare but no place can compare. The Nursery team and then the Junior Toddler were our baby’s extended family. The facilities were fantastic, freshly cooked meals and the caring people - we were very lucky to have this experience. Thanks again to the teams and all the best.

My little ones LOVE coming along to the free community group play sessions that are hosted by Froebel Parkville. Tahlia and her team are all so warm, welcoming, and encouraging to both children and parents. They always take such care in setting up interesting activities that help the kids of all different ages learn at their own pace. The space is both beautiful and functional for little and big humans together. I can only imagine that the kids who attend the centre for childcare in the rooms upstairs look forward to coming to Froebel Parkville as much as my kids too.

I rarely post reviews, but Froebel Parkville truly stands out. My daughter has attended since 8 months old (she's now 20 months), and I happily go past three other centres to bring her here. The spaces are bright, fun, clean and curiosity-inspiring; the educators are dedicated engaging professionals who fill every day with stimulating activities, hands-on learning and plenty of free play, and there’s been almost no staff turnover. Big thanks to Renate, Litsa, Wilson, WanYi, Beduka, Heidi, Sarah, Narelle, Katie, Indi, Jennifer, Catherine- and Pretzel the bunny - for creating a place my little one loves

About Professor Lynn Corcoran Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten: Froebel Parkville

The Professor Lynn Corcoran Early Learning Centre: Froebel Parkville is a not-for-profit early learning centre with an integrated funded Kindergarten Program, located in the heart of the biomedical precinct in Parkville, next to the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, just a few minutes' walk from the nearly finished Parkville Train Station. Our centre caters for 100 children aged 3 months to 5 years of age and stretches over 5 levels which have been architecturally designed.

Our educational program focusses on:

 • inquiry-based learning with our Little Scientists program. This program will ignite your child's natural curiosity and encourage them to explore the world surrounding them. Part of our STEM learning program is implemented during excursions for all our age-groups to the local surrounds and beyond – we are so lucky to have beautiful parks and markets nearby.
 • immersive language learning program with German as a second community language. Being exposed to more languages will be a boost to your child's cognitive development. A number of our educators are German speakers and speak in German to all children throughout the day. We also celebrate traditions from German-speaking countries such as our annual lantern walk, alongside Australian events and traditions from our diverse community.
 • holistic approach to sustainability that extends across environmental, community, and personal domains. We believe that nurturing environmentally conscious practices, fostering a strong sense of community, and supporting individual well-being are all interconnected and essential for long-term impact. Through daily routines, intentional teaching, and meaningful projects, children are empowered to care for their environment, contribute to their communities, and develop lifelong skills to support their own health and wellbeing.
