The educators are simply amazing a heartfelt thank you to Loraine, Marvin, Noemi, Bernadette, Riyah, and Isha for being so warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Since starting here, Raphaela has blossomed in confidence, independence, and social skills. The centre is always clean, well-organized, and full of engaging, play-based learning activities. Community Kids Haven Ardeer is a childcare and early learning centre situated in-between the Albion and Deer Park area, tucked away on a service road on Ballarat Rd. Our care and teaching approach incorporate the Reggio Emilia philosophy. At the core of this philosophy is an assumption that children form their own personality during the early years of development and that they are endowed with "a hundred languages", through which they can express their ideas. Children engage in a variety of learning using a large range of resources including recycled materials, wooden blocks and loose parts. The children participate in an indoor/outdoor curriculum that is based on the children’s interests.
