It is huge decision when you're thinking about childcare and preschool for your little loves.. and I couldn't be more grateful that I found Handprints. I will hold such fond memories for the years with Handprints as such a big part of our life. What makes it so special is the calibre of the staff - their passion, dedication, authentic care and professionalism mean that you have ultimate trust in the service. It feels like they walk beside with you in the parenting journey at this special stage of development, and that they are an extension of your family. It's a heart-driven centre with staff who take every opportunity to support and equip children with the skills they need to thrive.

My son attended Handprints Killara for a year, and we left due to our move overseas which was one of the hardest decisions we’ve made. He was genuinely happy there and always excited to see the educators and other children. The educators are incredibly caring and attentive — even when he was one of the last to be picked up, he was always happily engaged. We loved the strong focus on outdoor play and the weekly excursions, which my son thoroughly enjoyed. We are so grateful for the care and experiences Handprints Killara gave our son and would highly recommend it to any family living in or moving to the area.

We had both our kids here for the last 5 or so years and sadly it’s come to an end. So many special memories and we are very thankful to the educators that loved and cared for our children. Lots of the educators like Val, Caitlin, Sunny, Charlyn, Sam and Shevonne etc have been there for many many years and were there during the whole 5 years we were there - the staff retention here is amazing. And the huge outdoor space is wonderful. We are sad to leave but can’t recommend this place enough. They are always happy for you to communicate and are open to feedback. Deb and the team are just wonderful human beings.

Handprints Killara - A Wonderful Kindergarten Experience I highly recommend Handprints Killara! My child spent two wonderful years here and had a truly positive experience. The environment is welcoming, clean, and well-organized, providing a safe and stimulating space for children to learn and play. What stands out the most are the teachers—they are not only kind and professional but also genuinely caring and attentive to each child’s needs. My little one settled in quickly and always looked forward to going to kindergarten. It’s clear how much thought and heart the team puts into creating a happy and nurturing atmosphere. We left Killara Handprints with full hearts and lasting gratitude. After a big international move back from the US, this charming centre was everything we hoped for and more. Our girls (ages 2 and 4) were lovingly supported through the transition by the incredibly kind, international team. The outdoor environment is exceptional—kookaburras calling from the trees, bush school excursions, and endless opportunities to play and explore in nature. It gave our daughters the perfect start to life in Australia. We’ll always be thankful for the care, joy, and stability Killara Handprints brought to our family.

Handprints Killara is a truly exceptional daycare centre. My child has attended the centre for over 3 years and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, the space, and how easy they make everything. The children are engaged in nurturing and enriching activities and the staff really treat every child with respect, love, and kindness. The centre's communications with parents is also fantastic. I couldn't recommend this centre more!

This daycare is the best you will get. Every time I walked through the door I knew we were getting the best care. My daughter was in the nursery for over a year and she thrived, learned so much and made so many friends! Every single educator cares and I never had to worry at drop off. I could not speak more highly oh Handprints Killara. My kids have attended just over a year now and will do for another 2 years, and I have zero complaints. The director is easy to talk to, everything is organised to perfection, and the teachers are out of this world caring and supportive of our kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the school to anyone, if you are looking in the area it’s the best around (after attending two other centres in the area and finding the care lacking). The owner is lovely too and as it’s a family business you can speak directly to her which I think makes it feel more like a family.

The Killara Handprints team are wonderful - both of my daughters attended and loved it. The support and care the educators give is great. Recommend to anyone needing care in the area!
