We water plants, feed our chickens and worms and rake leaves. We enjoy painting, waterplay, playdough, large wooden block construction, we learn to write our name, develop numeracy skills and strengthen our hands with fine motor activities such as cutting, threrading and more. A large flat grass area provides space for your child playing in a small group to be able to safely run, jump, climb, ride bikes, push trucks up and ride down a gentle slope, Kick, throw and catch balls etc. 'The Learning Environment is the third teacher'; Reggio Emilia observation.We offer aproximately 1:100sqm per child outside play space ratio. (NSW minimum guidelines are 1:3.4sqm) .
I offer an inside space that is used exclusively for educational purposes with extensive quality educational resources. The space has a warm family feel but with no TV on our property. We sit together and read after the children serve themselves a home cooked hot meal with tongs and spoons and we pour our own glasses of water.
